It's OK
Don't get me wrong--this isn't a BAD product, but it really isn't very useful, either. I find the dancers are fairly amusing for a while and the analog recorder makes a really easy way to record old tapes, but that's about it. Also, the recorder ONLY records in proprietary Micro$oft .wma format instead of offering a useful-for-editing format like .wav. Because of this, the only time I ever use it is when I am feeling lazy and I have it set my recording level for me.I would only recommend this product if:1. Like me, you can get it "Free after rebates" (don't forget about taxes and shipping). Don't even think about paying more than $5 (after taxes, etc) for it.2. You already know you like a certain feature (like the dancers)--don't get this hoping for something great because you will probably be disappointed3. You have a lot of extra space on your hard drive and4. You have a fast internet connection (Downloading dancers requires up to 20MB or more PER DANCER!)

Analog Recorder does the trick.
I purchased a download of this software years ago, but wanted a hard copy. Sad that it does not work beyond XP, but it works great on that OS. Most likely, I will keep a computer with XP and this software to use just for music when MS stops the support in '14 since I, mainly, use it for the Analog Recorder. There are other programs, and I have used some of them, but I am partial to this one because it is very user friendly. It serves my purpose.

Great software, Why did Microsoft kill it?
I am keeping an old XP computer alive just for this software. I use it to record LP's. I have not found any WIN 10 software that is as good.

Great for your XP VM! Have an old game or other software that refuses to run in Winblows 7? Just make a VM of XP & add this little baby for fun...

defective disc nobiggie
unfortunately the disc was cracked from the center out about 1".....didnt run it to avoid a catastrophic disintegration.

Photo Story
I like this software for making slide shows set to music or narration. Easy to use. Has other applications as well, such as cd label making, alarm clock, audio converter, & analog recorder.

Windows XP is th best!
Included the Audio Converter tool I so desperately needed. It also installed a lot of extraneous stuff I didn't now XP could do, so that's pretty cool too.

Very Useful!
I bought this software for Windows XP because it added several features that I thought I would like, and I am very glad that I did. I have used most of the additions many times!
