Why can i buy it cheaper alot cheaper from lowes

Because Lowes don't have to mail it....but you have to drive there. Gas is not cheap.

can this be used for plugs,switches and ceiling fans?

yes it can but remember its only 15amp so you don't want to use this in your kitchen outlets for that you need 12/2...also if you are using it for a fan with a lite you will want 14/3 wire

Is this wire nm-b 90 degree rated, or nm 60 degree rated?

TYPE NM-B, For Dry Locations, PVC Insulation, Copper conductors, 600 Volts... I read this off the package...Hope it helps you...

Can you use this wire in canada and is it csa approved? why does it have paper inside? thanks

I live in California so I don't know what is acceptable in Canada. The paper wrap provides a separation between the other " live" wires, so normal installation movement will not cause the insulation to wear through.
