A fun word game for one or the family
A fun game for those who write and want to do so properly. Lots of tips of how to think about which words to use in which settings. Some of the errors are idioms we say all the time. Fun to shift through one by one or in a family game. A new board game for students and those who believe they are grown up!

Geeky? Sure. Also, way fun.
I bought one game for friends and then ordered another for ourselves. Have only played it once so far but it met my expectations completely—a totally geeky game in which English majors rule, but others can also enjoy. We didn’t obsess over points but just enjoyed sharing our opinions and learning. It’s true that—for folks with sharp memories—there may not be enough cards. For those of us in our 50s and beyond, it’s probably not as much of a concern. We can barely remember what we had for breakfast this morning.

Good language game.
Was excited to try it out.Was a bit too in depth and uncommon, so it wasn't as fun as I thought it would be for the individual I bought it.

Edifying and Entertaining
STET! is a fun and engaging way to introduce kids to basic (and not-so-basic) rules of grammar and style. They're essentially just a gamified grammar textbook in flash card form. The answers and explanations are witty, even if not always quite thorough enough to drive home full understanding of the relevant rule. My wife and kids (8 & 10) groaned and rolled their eyes when I told them I purchased this. But after our first late-night round, they were looking forward to playing again. This game won't change your life. But it'll help you have fun on your way to becoming a better writer.

A real treat!
Sorry of the picture is sideways. I pre-ordered this a while back but then it slipped my mind, so it was a nice surprise when it appeared on my doorstep. It's challenging but fun -- and simple to play. Forget the instructions, the only real rules you need to know are the rules of the English language. (I've been humbled a couple of times already.) Once I post this I have a few more to buy for friends and family who I know will dig it. And if you haven't checked out the book that inspired the game, do so. You won't be sorry. Wish list: maybe they'll come out with a a digital version of the game you can play on your phone remotely with friends.

Great gift for people who love words and writing!
Stet is a great gift for someone who writes poetry, short stories or articles, or who likes word games and puzzles. It is amazing to see how many errors my friends and I missed when we all have advanced college degrees! A great way to brush up on grammar and spelling when you have been out of school as long as I have been.

Excellent resource for teaching, as long as you do not overuse the deck with one class
I love the concept. But, as other customers have pointed out, there are not nearly enough cards. Because I am only using this in class, I am an ESL and English teacher, and the classes are only 8-14 weeks in length, I can stretch out the deck and combine it with lessons from his book. But if I were playing this with my family or friends, I would be very disappointed because once you play the entire deck, just 100 cards, there is nothing challenging. I think that the publisher should have a supplemental deck or decks available for free downloads as PDF or JPG files for customers who have proof of purchase of the original deck.
