I love the look of it and it fits extremely well, i havent had to cleant it yet but it looks straight foward as long as you have and old tooth brush.I hope the rubber lasts long as it is the main component that makes it fit, keeps it in place and stops the hair falling through. Im happy with my purchase. Mega fast delivery bought at 10am arrived around 6pm. Thumbs up!

I have a Belfast kitchen sink with a standard plug hole that any debris will happily go down. I have bought various sink strainers with varied success, some not fitting the hole properly many sitting too high and not filtering properly. The most successful one I had was a white rubber/elastomer one which had the same profile as this one, it discoloured quickly and looked a bit odd but with a bit of help from me (helping the clogging material to move into the middle so the edges could drain the water) it was the best by far, though a bit difficult to clean, then unfortunately the material started to split at the bottom so I had to look for a new one.I was unable to find another one the same, although I did see this one on Amazon and thought it too expensive so started experimenting with different designs again to no success. After a couple of months and careful measuring (as I had not yet thrown the old failed one away) I decided to bite the bullet and buy this one. I am so glad I did, it fits my plug hole perfectly. It is good quality stainless steel which will last and is well worth the money. Also it unscrews into two pieces to make cleaning easier.

This is a sturdy and very well made plug protector, but unfortunately can’t cope with the volume of water used in a shower. I don’t have it on very fast so it’s not a torrent, but even a moderate flow will cause the shower tray to fill up to my ankles. I’ve checked the drain without the device and it drains fine, so it is the product. There aren’t enough holes around the bottom and they’re so small they get easily blocked by soap too.

My shower outlet does not have its own filter and now with this new strainer it seems to be catching most of the hair. helping to prevent blockages, and allowing the water to flow away. There are 3 sizes of seals and the largest fitted my drain pipe exactly.

This hair catcher was more expensive than others but I have been so glad I opted for it. It is sturdy and stays exactly in place due to the sillicone seal. It is very easy to lift in and out of the plug hole and empty of hair straight into the bin. I dread to think what the drain would be like without it! It also fits multiple different wastes should you need it. Highly recommend.

This sits flush & immovable over my shower waste under a very powerful shower. (I've got a big quadrant shower so don't have the issue some reviewers mention of kicking it out of place.) It's not so thick as to stick up or stub toes, but the quality is excellent. There's no slowing of water flow even when clogged with hair. It looks more stylish than the original cover & the grey trim is a bonus as it goes with my grey bathroom. I also like that the metal is matt...looks much more expensive than shiny chrome. But to the main point of it...it traps every hair (I checked to see...& not a single hair in the shower trap) & it's SO easy to clean. Hair comes away easily &, because it's slightly domed, there's no need to grovel around in crevices to remove it all. (I have NO idea how or why Amazon suggest covering 'sheerness' in the review... what does a sheer hair filter look like???)Effective, attractive, good quality...highly recommended!!

Bought one then bought a second the next day. Got these to put in the bath and sink in the bathroom used by the husband as with his shaving and soap use they were always needing unblocking.Great little gadget. 3 different sized rubber rings to fit the plug hole. The sink one goes over the metal post and fits inside.The bath plug has an inset metal part so this sits in that and sticks up but so far my husband has not kicked it out or stubbed any toes when showering. Catches all the gunk and easy to wipe clean then rinse.

Stops the shower plug hole from blocking up. I’ve had to unblock the plug hole several times before but not anymore. Just remove it and wipe off the hair and your done. I chose this one because of the different fitting seals. It does stand above the plug hole a little bit but that makes it easy to remove and clean.
