Good deal and washes very well
At first, I purchased the sample bottles to try. I do like the result. It makes the cleaning for the cashmere so easy. I know my cloth is really clean and soft. And as a scent is very mild and pleasant. So I purchased the biggest bottle I could get. I am going to refill my travel bottle with it.

My favorite wool wash!
I’ve used this wool washing soap for many years and I was excited to have a giant jug on hand. I knit hats, mittens, scarves and lots of socks for my husband and myself. From fall to spring I wash socks every week by hand and love that I don’t have to rinse them out. It also keeps our woolens smelling good for us but repels bugs.

Delightful scent, leave in rinse
I love this soap (detergent). I love the scent. Now that I am wearing all wool all the time, I love the bulk gallon size. I love that you don't have to rinse it.

Wow, wow, wow!
I've recently become a bit of a merino-wool addict and while my clothes didn't stink or look "dirty," I did find that their elasticity was fading a bit and the colors were darker than when first worn. After reading the reviews on Eucalan and not seeing much else around the internet speaking of this stuff, I figured that at least I would have a bunch of decent animal-shampoo...turns out this stuff is absolutely mindblowing and worth the small investment!I cleaned my kitchen sink out, filled it with lukewarm water, and added just a teaspoon of Eucalan to the water. Stirred it a bit. Added in some merino socks, a merino turtleneck, and my merino beanie. Let them soak for ~10-15 minutes and came back to grey/black water! The Eucalan literally strips the wool of the dirt and grime; I was pretty shocked to see it worked so well!I let the clothing air-dry by laying it on a thick towel overnight, waking up to the softest, cleanest merino clothing!Absolutely crazy! I'm a believer!

The Best in No-Rinse ...
... and don't worry about the lanolin. I do a lot of hand washing (both because I've moved away from fast fashion and have more cotton/linen/wool to care for and also for exercising my hands because I type all day), and Eucalan is the winner for good suds, great scent, and cleansing power. A couple of other reviews have mentioned avoiding the lanolin in Eucalan for manmade fibers, and I've had no problem with it (zero buildup, zero dirt attraction); I appreciate the fact that the lanolin may aid in working an area and wringing out the clothes. Even more than the reliable performance of the wash is its smell, which is clean but not overpowering and fades to almost nothing as the fabric dries. I get so sick of hand wash that smells like lavender or that "sunny breeze tickling puppies and kitties in Cancun" nonsense they sell in stores; it's atrocious. This is a fabulous change.

Best detergent for washing wool
This detergent is so good and very easy to use. Simply measure 5ml in a spoon, and mix by running a faucet over it into a container with a gallon of cool water. Dunk your clothes in, let it sit for several minutes, do some agitation if necessary (be careful, this can cause pilling/felting if you’re too rough or temperature shock the wool) then drain and air dry. Pre-soak and pre-wash any heavily soiled parts if necessary. Easy peasy, and my wool has never been softer or more comfortable.

Keep coming back
We’ve started to really be very careful about how our laundry is done so that we can take good care of our clothes and delicates. This stuff is great. No excessive foaming/residue, not heavily scented, does its job. We love it. Will continue to keep coming back for more

Great Value
I bought this to wash my hand knit gifts and my own knitted clothes. As a knitter, I want my gifts to be clean as well as shaped their very best. This wool wash does not need to be rinsed out, so I can treat the knitted object as little as possible during that last step. This size container of the wool wash is much more economical than the little bottles sold in yarn store.
