I bought two of these. Still using first one. Works perfectly. Great battery life! Love the built in programs. I am using it on my l shoulder and lower back. Great for self-rehab!

My mother had a mild stroke and i was hunting for the charging cable but realized i can use any type of A type cable to charge the device. We started with the shoulders because hers hurt alot and she was able to get some flexibility back with her right arm but we gotta work on the left arm. her neck feels better, gotta do the thighs and legs pretty much she kind of lost the ability to walk but this device is a life saver

What a great little TENS unit! Very small, pretty much can fit in the coin pocket on a pair of jeans (small and compact, about the size of your palm). The unit comes with 2 cables that branch into two connectors, so you can put up to 4 pads on your body. the power level is what surprised me the most. It can get up there in the electric pulses. If you are looking into buying a a TENS unit and don't want to spend a lot of money, this one would work perfectly. Comes with an handful of pads that are interchangeable and very good at sticking to the skin. The only thing I am not sure about or experienced any issues with is the battery. It charges appropriately, delivers a hearty electrical stimulation, and works perfectly. I guess with time, like all devices, battery wears out, but at this moment, it works well. As for the interface of the device, it has a click-wheel (no touch screen), and if you want to increase shock you click left or right, and up or down to change the settings. I think its great item for personal use or even a gift. Comes in beautiful packaging, everything is supplied, and includes a nice black material travel bag.

First off, this is a very sleek looking unit. Small, portable and easy to use.THE GOOD STUFF:There's a lot of power in this. I wasn't sure at first but after playing with the modes and intensities I figured out what worked.There's six modes with four levels of intensities each and then you can adjust the level as needed from there for each channel or single if you want to go that way.The battery seems to last forever. I charged it as soon as I opened it and it was ready in a few hours. I've used it pretty intensely since (over 48hrs) and the battery icon hasn't moved at all. So I expect some good staying power there. The charger has a light on it that turns green when it's ready.The leads are pretty long, though when at the end where they split to attach to the pads, the split is a bit short so I pulled it apart some.The pads are very sticky, I'm hopeful for many uses out of them. These are the snap on type. I'm not sure if they're as good as the pin connector type, this is my first experience with them. I did notice, however, that when I used the 2x4 pad that the simulation did not cover the whole area of the pad. Just stayed around the snap.THE NOT SO GOOD (what I didn't like):For starters, this isn't a true dual channel TENS. You can use the A/B leads on different parts of the body at the same time, but you cannot operate different modes independently.Having to constantly adjust to A/B levels when changing modes. I think I found that most annoying. It's like changing the channel on the TV and having to turn the volume back up each time, but without the remote.They give you one plastic disc to store the pads and wires you're using. If this is meant to be used as a dual channel why not give us two?I can see myself wearing out the little disc /controller having to do so much adjusting. It would've been nice to have a memory function, at least of the last mode used.The acupuncture chart is nice, but a better choice would've been a lead placement chart to go with it. The average person using this unit isn't going to know the best place to put the leads to get the most benefit. In fact, there's nothing about actually using this unit in the manner intended, i.e. Pad placement chart, what modes are best for what kind of treatmentOverall, this may be a sleek and powerful design but it's brought down some by what it's missing/lacking. I was drawn in by the design and reviews. But after using it I'm not sure that I'll keep it, I think I'm looking for something more to treat my chronic back/sciatic pain.

I'll start with the negatives first. The LED screen light is very bright. I also think it would be cool if it changed color according to the mode and intensity level selected. 4 of the pads don't have a pull tab used to remove the pads from storage sheets. In my experience with these devices, the pushing and pulling on the adhesive gel tends to shorten the life of the pads. My solution is, I don't use those pad often.What's AMAZING?! The battery life! My first use was well over 6 to 8 hours straight and not one bar was lost. This has been consistent over 16 days. It did lose one bar of power a few days ago, but as I was watching the screen the bar came back. When does that ever happen? Never!The Modes are numerous, which makes X-Point an excellent choice for those of us who like to try different therapeutic techniques and treatments. The intensity levels range from what I describe as a light tickle to a deep tissue massage. I prefer deep tissue therapy, so its great for me. I have arthritis and fibromyalgia for which I cannot take prescription meds for and it eases and relieves the symptoms of both. It's not a cure for either, but it's an absolute great alternative. The session time is 10 to 60 minutes, but you can increase during the session for longer sessions without interrupting your present session. The A and B inputs allow you to treat both sides of the body equally, such as the shoulders. You can increase and decrease the power level independently, but you can't use different modes simultaneously. This may be for safety, I'm not sure, which is why I don't see it as a negative. The pads adhere extremely well. I use it a lot! My only negatives are above, but after many uses the pads are like new. One tip I well share, is to clean the area you treat with a cloth dampened with rubbing alcohol, then apply the pads. But, that's up to you. I've owned several of these types of devices and none were rechargeable or this powerful. I highly recommend it, but do follow the instructions. I read a few negative reviews before deciding to purchase, but no two people are exactly alike and no product is perfect. Maybe I got lucky and got a good one, in my opinion. Hope those who didn't have a good experience find the right product for them. Hope I didn't bore you with too many details and if you buy this device I hope you experience is the same or better than mine. Either way, get healthy and stay healthy. PEACE
