Size 12 fits perfectly for me (5'-6", 165 lb, pear-shaped, 47" hips at widest point) These are the jeans I've been looking for: super comfortable, waist high enough that you can bend over without it falling too low, just enough stretch, doesn't wear too quickly between the thighs, flattering, and a great price.

Right now I have a lot of baby weight to lose, and I’m sitting at a size 14 jeans. Lately I’ve been wearing sweatpants every day because my 14 jeans feel slightly tight and i’ve been addicted to an elastic waistband for the last year. When ordering these jeans, I read the reviews, looked at the size chart, and decided I’d probably need a 16. I don’t like my skinny jeans to be a second skin. I like them tight, but not where you have to do magic tricks to get in them. I was discouraged, thinking I had gone up a size, but I ordered both the 14 and 16 with the intent to return whichever one didn’t work. When they came, I hopefully tried on the 14 first and THEY FIT 🎉🌟😃! In fact, they look a little saggy. So I’d totally recommend ordering your normal size- they have a lot of stretch to them. And if you’re feeling brave, maybe even try the next size down 🤷🏻‍♀️

I ordered your blue indigo jeggings (sz. 6) from your Amazon site on Nov 19, 2017. I LOVED them and they were exactly as pictured on the site. So I ordered another pair Jan 7, 2018. I thought it was a mistake...they were totally different. The stitching and material was a totally different color and fade, the button, zipper and other metal is a different color, and there are other embellishments like the Democracy Brand logo on one of the back seat pockets. I was so confused. So I ordered another pair on Jan 9, 2018 just to make sure it wasn't a mistake. I received the same pair as the ones ordered on Jan 7. I checked to make sure that the product numbers all match, and everything on the tag is exactly the same as the original from Nov 19 (UPC and RN#) EXCEPT the PO#. The Nov 19, 2017 jeggings PO# is 100-00046725 and the Jan 7/9, 2018 jeggings PO# is 100-00036593. Why would the site say that you're selling the same pair of jeggings originally bought, when that's not the case?I have emailed Democracy Clothing directly to try to resolve this issue. I really want to get these pants, and then I will change my review on these, although this is an unexpected hassle...

I am the type to find a pair of jeans that fit my body and stick with them. My body shap is small waist, larger booty and thighs so I tend to shy away from this type of jean leggings. But these are the most comfortable and figure flattering jeans I have owned in years. They have become my favorite when I am one that tends to go with a slight boot cut to make me feel propotional but I don't feel anything but amazing in these and that is saying a lot!! I do not get paid to say this or a discount, this is just one person who hates jeans who has found they love these.

These are really great jeans. Very forgiving to figure flaws. I’ve gained some weight and regular jeans make me absolutely miserable because they pinch me and strangle my waist. These have a fabulous fit - no pinching or binding, no camel toe or front butt. Just absolutely slimming and fabulous. They look like jeans, but feel like comfortable leggings. My only complaint is they are NOT skinny jeans - the legs bag at the knee if you wear them with knee-high boots. If you want to tuck them in ankle booties, that’s not going to happen as it can with true skinny jeans. The leg openings do not conform to your leg from knee to ankle. Slender leg, yes. Skinny leg, no.

I usually wear a 14/16 but had to size down to a 12 for these to fit. I have an apple shape and these are the first pair of jeans/jeggings that actually fit me! husband loved them, they look great on the butt and dont roll much on the legs. I found the 12 to fit snug on my legs (which are about a size smaller than my waist) and the stretchy waistband had enough give to not give me a muffin top. Mind you, I've had 3 kids and have that "mothers apron" and extra belly fat. These honestly fit my stomach so well, they are the first pair that actually fit me and I've tried soooo many brands of stretchy jeans, jeggings, you name it. If you have an issue similar to mine, buy your current size as well as 1 size down to find the best fit. Definitely worth it. I don't usually buy myself clothes and am a cheapskate, even after tell my husband the cost he told me to get a few more!

I am curvy. I wear size 16 trouser. These fit perfectly to size.These are absolutely fantastic!They are perfect for curvy women who need some wiggle room and stretch but still want to look chic. The waist band is lovely and doesn’t bother my bothersome c-section scarring at all! (This is my main problem with jeans. The second problem being that most jeans don’t cover my butt. )And these jeans go high enough in the back to prevent ahem, “moonage”.I love these jeans and hope they make them forever.

Between pregnancy and postpartum, I haven’t had jeans on in a year so when I felt it was time, I knew they needed to be forgiving and comfortable. These pants are both! Although not EXACTLY like pictured- the jeans pictured have a tear above/at both knees. The jeans I received only have one of those. These pants are super soft while still being jean material and the elastic-like waist band is amazing. Often times when you get a pair a jeans like this, they feel/look too much like pajama jeans for my taste. These do NOT and are AMAZING. I am 5’6 and currently 200 pounds- ordered a size 14.UPDATE: I purchased a second pair (mid-dark color) and they are a bit tighter than the first pair. So much that I might have to send back and get another size. Annoying, but typical for woman’s clothes to be so inconsistent... even when you are buying the same product, just a different color.

I love these jeans. They wash and tumble dry without shrinking and are very flattering. Wide stretchy waistband prevents muffin tops and very comfy fit.

I purchased a pair 1 year ago at Rickis and was disappointed a few months later when they told me they no longer carry Democracy. I only looked online recently and found them here.Democracy jeggings just feel right, the tummy tuck, stretch and butt lift make you feel incredibly confident when looking in the mirror and they are comfortable af. I hated jeans growing up and still have never felt super comfortable in jeans but these ones feel more like dress pants or leggings.Wearing other brands of jeans, they come off the second I get home and are replaced with Pjs, I don't even notice I haven't taken them off most times. They are so comfortable.

The fabric on these is terrible. I can’t even explain it, they stretch but don’t conform so they become baggy within minutes, the wash looks like bad fake denim and and the texture is off. All of that combines to make the waist band roll, the pockets invert and the crotch sag.Admittedly they are just as comfortable as a decade old pair of sweatpants your spouse keeps trying to throw out but I promise you they are equally unappealing. If you’re seeking pants that scream $10 walmart maternity jeans bred with a lycra sofa protector these are the pants for you.
