Gastromax1 Round Ovus Cooking Spoon, Black

At first I was disappointed with this spoon. It felt cheap, light, spindly- exactly opposite of what I expect in a high quality cooking spoon. However, it has become my go-to cooking spoon. The light weight means it stays in even the smallest of pots without falling out. It is rigid enough for most tasks and the volume of bowl is adequate. Another advantage is they take up less real estate in my utensil drawer compared to the oxo and calphalon cooking spoons. In fact, I liked this spoon enough to order a second one plus a smaller version of the same spoon.

I won't take off a star for this but it is much bigger than expected. I did say 11.4" down at the bottom but I missed it. The picture makes it look like a regular tablespoon (despite there being nothing in the background to give context for my assumption). Seems like a well made spoon.

Great cooking spoon for metal pots & pans that you don't want to scratch up and it's dishwasher safe. Exactly what I was looking for.

This spoon is lightweight and slim. Works great and doesn't take up much space.

This spoon is perfect. Don't be fooled by its "flimsy" appearance- it is far from it! It is so durable, yet lightweight. In fact, it is as solid as a wooden spoon. Also didn't realize it was made in Sweden (not China!) until I received it. I hope Amazon.ca continues to sell these Sveico products, as they all seem to be made in Sweden.

I have had one of these spoons for years and was glad to find they are still available. I bought three, one for me two for other family members. They are just the right size for stirring sauces, eggs, etc, and they are robust and clean very easily.

Amazing tool in the kitchen. Use it all the time.
