Fit is Great HOWEVER
These are excellent boots and the fit is very good with two different insoles, so they are quite comfortable on. However, they are a bit of a challenge to put on and super difficult to remove due to the narrow ankle section. I had to buy a boot jack to help.

Major stiffies
Fit: I wear an 8-1/2 wide. I ordered these boots in a size 9 and they fit perfectly.Pros: Everything they tell you about these boots in the glossy brochure is true! The features and material properties listed are correct. The "however": Through the ankle and up to the top of the boot, these things are as stiff as an optimist on prom night. They fit in the area of the toe box but get loose around the ankle which causes them to pivot through your stride, just behind the toe box and not at the ankle. This means these are heel burners, rubbing a hole through my sock, then me, on the back of my heel. Also, since they don't flex at my ankle, every stride sends the boot shank slapping back and forth alternately, against my shin and calf. It makes a loud "flop-flop-flop" noise. Others may be okay with this; I hate it like cold, plain, canned asparagus. The preliminary summation I have is that these are not for walking much or any dynamic/high mobility work environment. Would I go back to crabbing in these, climbing and running around on deck in such stiff, chafe inclined boots? NO.These will certainly fit others differently than they do me so "try before buy" is my main recommendation. As a guideline I say: If you stand on wet steel a lot, on deck, or say you work the line in a cannery and don't do a lot of running around, I can recommend these boots. I think they'd be very good for that sort of application. The foot bed is solid and more supportive than most other boots of this type and the non-skid claim is true.On the other hand, not being a mobility oriented boot, If you want to hike the creek in pursuit of trout or something, keep shopping.

Grunden's Deck-Boss Boot Review
I bought Grundens DECK-BOSS Boots as a gift for my husband. Grunden's is a quality product. They fit true to size, are Waterproof, and appear to be durable. He will use them for fishing. I wish I had bought a half size larger than what he wears for plenty of room for heavy socks but he felt he didn't need heavy socks with these boots. He was happy with gift, so I recommend them!

Very nice
I loved how easy they were to put on, I have big calfs. Standing in them all day was ok at first but they started to Hurt my heels but i foxed that with inserts. I did have water go in over the tops a couple times and they dried out fast. I am very happy with this purchase and will buy Them again when needed.
