NEMA L6-30 Connector 30A, 250V by POWERTRONICS CONNECTIONS

As others have stated here, this is a very high quality receptacle. The terminals had plenty of room for my 10 gauge extension cord and probably could handle 8 or even 6. They tightened down on the wire positively. The rubber barrier is a nice touch. If you have already stripped your wire ends when you push it through, just wrap them in a little electrical tape so it will thread through without snagging. I've made an extension cord for my MIG welder and Plasma Cutter as well as my shop heater, all of which are set up on the L6-30P plug.

The plastic is not as impact resistant as a Hubble plug, but it works great for basic over drops or on cord ends that aren't going to get knocked around much. I'm using it for a line drop to a conveyor, and it's just fine in that application.

Lasted 6 years, some reason it burnt inside. Doesn't get much use.

Its a basic connector but I love the price compared to my local hardware store.

I needed to plug some computers into essentially a dryer outlet. Using a dryer hookup cord, i just used the two hots and one ground, and this worked perfectly. Great price and worked well.

Great build quality L6-30 receptacle. Easy to hook up to your cable securely. Includes a rubber shield/grommet which should help keep water and debris out of the connector.

Good Plug for the price, but not as constructed as well as the comparable Leviton plug. Good for something that isnt used very often like an adapter.
