Worked perfectly for my tools in need

You ever turn on a power tool, corded or cordless, and it makes too much noise and a peculiar "electrical fire" smell. That happened to me when I bought a second-hand cordless Makita reciprocating saw. So I checked the brushes. They looked ok. So I checked the commutator (a ring of copper'bars' that are similar in shape to the end of the 'brush'). It was all glazed and black and glossy. Using only a pencil eraser I removed the glaze and scoring from the commutator. I simply placed the eraser into the hole where the brush goes while turning the motor, blew out the residue and replaced the brushes.. The saw works great now. These are original factory replacement parts from Makita. I can't imagine using anything better. Buy 'em

Part was broken, the brush head separated from its connector. Note: This is not my usual experience with Amazon or Mikita products. Disappointed.

Came quick. Packageing was good and safe. They fit very well and seem to be very well made. Did help my saw get back power. Would recomend for any Makita tool user since these brushes fit different tools.
