Sensitive Precision™ Dermaplaning Face Kit

I wasn't sure what to expect from this product. Dermaplaning is something I had been looking into but due to lockdown the timing left me looking online for solutions I could use myself. Some tools on sale seemed to be more for professionals and I really didnt want to harm my face. I came across this item from Veet and due to it being safe and easy to use I decided to purchase as it is such a reasonable price. I also purchased a spare set of heads as I like to be prepared so if I like the outcome I'm set up to continue use. I have now had this for a month and used it twice, as instructed. The first time I used the tool I was very precise and collected the debry on a tissue and k was honestly shocked. I follow a skin care routine and my skin is not awful however I was shocked to see the dirt which came off my face. Applying the face oil which comes with the item, it helps to glide the tool over your face easily. As someone with quite a lot of 'peach fuzz' on my face, it felt strange to have my face feel so sensitive. The wind on my face was such a strange sensation, but I guess only the same as shaving your legs for the first time ever. I got used to it after about a week. It is not noticeable when the fuzz begins to grow back and is only very slightly noticeable to the touch. Overall I'm really happy I purchased this and although dermaplaning in a salon is more invasive in getting impurity out of the skin i think this is working just fine for me and could save me a lot of money in the long run.

I'm a big fan of DIY dermaplaning and have used several tools for this previously, including the "tinkle" style eyebrow razors and specifically designed dermaplabing blades, however all of these have been totally "manual" tools, I was initially interested in the Veet product due to the added vibration with the tool. My first impressions were good, the tool was neatly packaged in a small cardboard box, it is supplied with a drawstring storage bag, a battery, a second dermaplaning head and two small vials of moisturising oil to use before the treatment. It was easy to assemble, pop the battery in, click the head into place and remove the safety cover from the blade- simple! I started with gently cleansing my skin to ensure that there was no makeup or skincare residue, and then thoroughly dried my face. I then proceeded with the treatment- I applied the supplied oil and used the dermaplaning tool to remove the vellus hair from my cheeks alongside darker hair from my upper lip and dark hairs from around my eyebrow region. Its important to ensure you're holding your skin taught when using the tool to make sure you've removed as much of the hair as possible, and to ensure you get the full benefits of the exfoliation too. The gentle vibrations certainly helped to ensure that the exfoliation was as effective as possible, it took me less than ten minutes to complete the treatment, and I had zero irritation following use. After completing the treatment, I gently cleansed my face a second time and applied a light moisturiser, my skin was smooth and glowing! The following morning my skin looked and felt just as good as it had the night before, with zero redness or irritation, and my makeup and skincare applied like a dream. I would thoroughly recommend this to anyone interested in at-home dermaplaning, newbies and those who are more experienced alike. For those who are new to the treatment, as long as you read the instructions and follow the recommendations, it's a piece of cake!

This left my skin feeling super soft and smooth, it gives a great base for makeup application. It is simple to use once you spend a few moments getting used to it I recommend watching the videos made my Veet they really helped me when I first used it. The oil is nice, it is highly fragranced though so you might not like it if you find perfumed products offensive, however that being said my skin is super sensitive and it did not irritate me. Overall I would say this is a great product, especially considering how much it costs to have this kind of treatment in a salon it is a great way to feel luxurious on a budget.

I purchased this product last year and while I thought it expensive for what it was, I was happy that it did the job (removing face hair, not so sure it does anything for your skin). However, I've not been able to get any refill blades for the past 4/5 months. That makes this a really expensive item as each blade (this kit will have 2) is only meant to be used once. If you can't see any refills for sale, don't buy this. A separate note on using this - I always kept the used blade for a couple of days so I could check the results in varying lights. If you're not in a rush to bin the blade, then you will have it to hand to deal with any hairs you might have missed the first time.

Good product

I was very concerned about dermaplaning because I worried that facial hair would grow back thicker and darker. However, I couldn’t have been more wrong. This is the second one I’ve purchased. The results are fantastic and your skin is left feeling super smooth. In fact, when I went to work my good friend asked had I had something done ha. I am very very pleased with the result. The instructions are easy to follow and using the product is very easy. I think you just have to have a few attempts of getting it on the right angle. I got a little redness after completing it. The redness does go down and was no problem for me. I like how it comes in a little pouch / bag making it a nice essential to travel with. Definitely recommend and will never be without this product. Definitely worth the money.
