Teach Yourself Complete Modern Hebrew: From Beginner to Intermediate Level 4

The book is handsome and thorough. However after the first couple of lessons the author drops the vowels. Also much of the book depends on an audio program that does not come with the book.

I am really enjoying revising my little knowledge of Hebrew through this book with the accompanying audio cd. The layout is very clear, and the exercises are also good practice. Having learnt Arabic previously, perhaps helps, but why oh why do I find myself crying out, " Can't they make the characters a bit bigger?" My eyesight is not perfect, and I find squinting at the page tiresome.

Advertised as a CD Book package but there is no accompanying CD. The book cover claims free audio from the Teach Yourself library but that audio is no longer available. Unusable for beginners.
