Best Medical Tape Ever for Diabetic devices
I have tried many other types of medical tape in the past 10 or so years I been using my pump and cgm. Some would not stick at all. Some would fall off before 24 hours passed. Some lasted a couple days. Some gave me nasty rashes. I found this flexifix tape and fell in love. I am back for more. My last roll I ordered in April or May and finally needing to reorder. I use a little bit with every site change for my insulin pump and every cgm change. It stays on the entire life of the infusion set or sensor (3 days, a week) and I have to pull it off its still stuck there. In the summer months or when I will be in a lot of water I put mastisol under it and it works great. The top clear grid layer (that pulls off after you stick it on) is great so you can cut in a straight line to the size you need. For around my infusion set I use 4 pieces that are 2 grids wide (the full 2 inch length) and place it around all 4 sides of my infusion set. For my glucose sensor I cut three 2 grid wide pieces and place around the top of the sensor to anchor it in as the sensor doesn't have a lot of tape there. Then I place a small piece about 3-4 grids markings back under where my transmitter will lay to prevent the transmitter from irritating my skin. Then I cut 2 longer pieces and place one over the top of the sensor and one over the back side of the transmitter. I do not fully cover it as I noticed in the past when I did I would sweat under it and it had no where to go and would make the tape fall off...I wonder if thats some of the problem others complained about. I swim, shower, use hot tubs, etc with this tape and never have an issue. I have very sensitive skin and reacted to other products by this company and I do not react at all to this tape. Please Smiths and Nephew do not discontinue this tape.

it's easy to use, colorless, and can be used for any skin color. I plan to order more of this.
This is excellent tape for wound care. I use it for cosplay & as a very happy drag artist. As a bonus, it's easy to use, colorless, and can be used for any skin color. I plan to order more of this.

So much better than a "bandaid" -- UPDATE *** May be allergenic ***
Transparent, easy to apply, waterproof, excellent adhesion, very durable, and does not irritate your skin. I've tried waterproof "bandaids", but they don't stay on more than a day before they start coming loose. I also tried the Nexcare waterproof foam tape, but that also started coming off in less than a day and it irritated my skin something awful. So glad I found this Opsite dressing. Now I just make my own bandaid by using a piece of gauze over the wound, or cut the middle part of a traditional bandaid and put it over the wound, and use the Opsite as the top dressing and I have a bandage that lasts for days on end. Love it! Update- The more I've been using this I realize this is most likely causing an allergic reaction in the form of an itchy rash. I've recently used it on one of my fingers and also on my stomach area, both times I've experienced intense itching after about 1/2 a day and when I removed the Opsite bandage all the skin it was covering was red, itchy, and sore. Took a couple of days for the rash to clear. I doubt I'll be using this again.

Affordable! Sticky! Lasts!
Cheaper than Tagaderm and sticks better. If you are using this over your meds patches (Duragesic or Estrodiol) you'll easily get 3+ days of reliable coverage. Also awesome for those nasty little cold weather dry finger tip cracks. Read the directions for applying! They have a method for removing the backing/grid materials and applying that is fool proof. If you do not follow their directions this adhesive will make you cranky. Awesome for home use! If you are wearing medical gloves, applying this stuff may be a bit frustrating. 4 our of 5 Stars because they are not entirely user friendly and the materials has (on occasion) cause me to get a teensy bit rashy.

The only medical tape we use for diabetes gadgets
My son has Type 1 diabetes and we have used this for over a decade. It's so great at keeping his glucose monitor and insulin pump secure. He plays a lot of sports in the hot Florida sun and this tape is a life-saver for us.
