A Great Low Cost Work Out
Bought this for my teenage son since we don't have space for a full bench set - easy to assemble, strong materials. Please note that there are two small brackets you need to screw into the wall above the door frame for this to slip into. At first you do feel concerned during a pull-up and you feel the shifting of the bars on the door that there is no way this will hold a person and will most likely come ripping out of the wall and you'll crash to the floor - not the case at all. My son uses this daily - he's only 150lbs and I'm 170lbs - I can't speak for someone weighting 225. Like previous reviews - the rubber tube covers that lean against the door frame will leave black marks and possibly create small indentations. We just put a sock over the rubber tube cover and it minimizes and marks - honestly it's nothing a little paint can't cover up.

Good bar but will damage sheet rock as is.
Pro: I am 190 lbs and this bar holds pretty well. It flexes slightly like all of them do but not enough to be concerned.Con: it indents the wall underneath it. I slide two blocks of wood under just outside the door frame to take the weight of the bars and no worries.

Excellent customer service.
I am editing my review for exceptional customer service. The company contacted me offering to accept a return and administer a refund since this workout bar wouldn't fit my doorways. They have also updated the product description to reflect the that it won't fit into extra deep doorways, like those you might find in older homes with heavy decorative molding or trim. My doorways are outside of the norm at a little over 7.5 inches deep, so I doubt that most persons would encounter this problem.Additionally, the workout bar was solid after I assembled it and it has several different grips to change up your workout. Because I do like the quality of the product itself, I plan to keep it and take to my office, where it will fit perfectly on a typical doorway.

Everything as advertised, easy to assemble. Didn't have to use the mount screws, works fine without.

Ready to workout!
I like my new pull up bar. Now, no more excuses. ) I was concerned it might be hard to put together. But I was able to put it together pretty quickly. And it slips onto the doorway frame very easily.
