Renpure Coconut Cream Nourishing Shampoo, 32 Ounce

I have a very very tricky 3C/4A blend that is very very soft (won't hold curls) but also, has NEVER actually "absorbed" a product in my entire 36yr life! meaning products are usually just sitting on the outer layer of my hair and not doing a damn thing. I have had my hair in braids for about 3 years hoping that it would get a little stronger, longer, and grow in the places where years of weave wearing and over processing had made it fall out; when I finally took the braids out, my hair was SO Dry, brittle, frizzy, and dull that I almost just gave up and cut it ALL off!! But after a little research I heard about co-wash as a great way to condition hair and after all other great hair online hair suggestions I decided that the best kind for my hair "may be" a milk based shampoo formula. So one day at my local hair store (while getting SOoooOoo overwhelmed with all the different products that all claim to do pretty much the same things...but different, lol) I hastily settled on the Renpure Coconut Co-wash and after the very FIRST USE...there was a TREMENDOUS IMPROVEMENT!!!One day I'd purchased one of those magic barber sponges with the hope that it could help give me tighter curls that would actually last; with this product you need to use a moisturizer on the sponge and I decided to go with a Motions brand product that, UGH!! Was SO disgusting and just made my hair super oily and sticky on the outside, I had thankfully bout this Renpure Coconut Milk Shampoo (simply because I was so impressed by the co-wash) and when I tell you that my hair has NEVER FELT SO CLEAN...Hun-tee!!! I can't even describe in words how well such a little amount of this product lathered up and cleaned my hair. I swear that as I ran my hands down the strands, my hair and scalp began to sinnnnnggg to the Heavens like little baby angels!!!! I followed with the co-wash AND... I had also purchased the Renpure Argan Oil Deep condition (I mix a few drops inside a spray bottle with water and while my hair is in bantu knots which I usually leave in for a few days, I periodically spray the mixture on the knots and line my scalp with Jamaican Black Castor Oil)... I took a knot down fora girl yyesterday to explain how hard it is for me to hold curls... that girl touched my hair and was in aww!!! She was like OMG!!! Its sooooo silky and soft! And it's the HAIR that is soft, there is abbbbbbbsoLUTELY no oil just sitting on top of the hair!!!I Love this stuff!!! I have never really been the type that would be all devoted to an entire Line of hair care products; I mix and match like a dollar menu... but not anymore!! I'm preparing to get the Renpure curling lotion (I currently use Shea Moisture and I don't hate it but... I also dont love it) Renpure has me sold! My scalp used to hurt sooo bad from all the tension of doing stupid stuff with my hair but now, it feels like those freaky shower girls in the Garnier Fructise commercials! I'll never buy another brand & I highly recommend these products :D

I was looking for shampoo/conditioner that was as natural as possible. Without the parabens, sulfates, and chemicals but that would also not be so expensive!!Previously I was using the HASK line...which was great but expensive. I also wanted a line that was as complete as possible and easy to find.When I say complete, I mean one that offered all the products I usually use. You see, I was once told by a professional (not a hair dresser but a Dermatologist) that the best way to maintain your hair was to choose a brand and stick to it. In other words, not to mix products from different brands, like the shampoo/conditioner from one brand and the heat protector from another. His reasoning was as follows: The products in a single brand are meant to work together. You never know how the mixing of the chemicals from all different brands are going to react to each other. An oil intended to nourish your hair when mixed with a waving cream from another brand, for example, may end up canceling the nourishing effects. Ever since I began sticking to a single brand my hair has drastically gotten healthier. I began by using nothing but Garnier Fructis (It was the shampoo I already used and my hair improved a lot just by doing this), then I moved to Hask (my hair had another improvement but it was just to expensive and hard to get..always out of stock) now all I use is Renpure.I must say! My hair has never been better!!! It is so soft and shiny! It has never been healthier. It has also gotten a lot stronger and thicker. I love my hair!note: I dye my hair black every few months and do not use hot tools (unless it is for a special ocacion)I am 5'10" and my hair is past down my waist, so it is loooong! and super healthy! I love it! I do rotate between this shampoo, and the one with biotin. But this one is my favorite one because of the smell.I highly recommend!

I initially had some trepidation about buying this based on some of the negative reviews, but I'm really glad I pulled the trigger and got it. It's hard to believe it's sulfate free (one of the main reasons I purchased this shampoo) as it has fantastic lather! It feels very creamy, rich and luxurious and a little goes a long way.I have microlink extentions and that requires me to be careful about the kind of shampoo I use. This has worked wonderfully in both caring for the extentions and still making my hair look beautiful once dry and styled. I have wavy hair so I generally blow dry it straight with a round brush. Although I have extentions, my natural hair is very fine and I don't have a ton of it (thus the extentions), so it's very easy for moisturizing shampoos to weigh it down or make it look greasy, but I haven't had any such problem with this shampoo. It's actually a little surprising that it hasn't been an issue considering how rich and moisturizing it feels! Granted, I try to use a clarifying shampoo at least a couple times a week which helps avoid any potential build up.Another thing I love about this shampoo is the huge bottle and convenience of the pump dispenser... very easy to use in the shower and it lasts forever! The scent is also lovely. Nice and coconut-y without being overly sweet or chemical smelling. Renpure's Coconut Cream Conditioner also smells DIVINE! I would highly recommend it as well. I actually tried the conditioner first and loved it so much I wanted to give the shampoo a try. I've been incredibly pleased and impressed by both.Happy sudsing!! :)

I have used this shampoo for 6 years now. I have very fine, curly hair. This shampoo, in combination with the conditioning product, is the best system I've ever found for keeping my hair not frizzy, healthy, and nice smelling. My hair is soft, and looks good with a tiny bit of l Myrah hair oil. Please please please: keep making it!!
