I got this book a few years ago at a used book store and I still consider it my best reference book for minerals. I have a B.S. degree in Geoscience and used the book for a mineralogy course I was taking, many of the Geology students were impressed with the content of the book.I especially like the inclusion of the Crystalography section. The book was orginally published in 1964, then again in 1967, so its pre-moonlanding, but does include a small section on Meteorites.Mine is old and needs to be rebound, which I plan to do since the book is no longer published. Find this book!
