A decent supplemental workbook. It is not presented in a boring manner. The sections are nicely divided with some explanation on how to do the problem. I am not sure the explanation would be enough if you have a child that is really struggling. For a moderate learner this book is good enough in covering everything.

I like this book so much I got the complete curriculum which is like two of these and has like 5 topics the only thing I didn't like it it has every single page this book has so I ended up with doubles in math but I have a younger child so he can use this one but the for a couple bucks more its a great value to get the bigger one. Either way its a great colorful book lots of pages little lessons and examples all in vibrant colors not too childish this is a great book.

We home school our 2 girls , ages 10 and 8, and I ordered both the 3rd grade and the 4th grade books. I have been looking for Math books that explained the problems with ease and without all the test to get through or all the art work and this book is it. It is easy to understand and well written. I highly recommend it. I plan to order other grade levels and other subjects and we plan to use this as our main Math curriculum for now. It's an excellent book and covers all the basics.Highly recommended.

My twin sons have been using this math book as they prepare for 4th grade. It has some great review pages in the beginning and I think they will be able to keep using it as they begin school for extra practice.
