so far so good
this is another one of those questionable parts, there were several different styles of pans (shallow, deep, w. exhaust clearance, w/o exhaust clearance) so the filters had to be slightly different, and most sites are fairly vague on the specific one you need.this is on a 2001 4wd Blazer with the deep pan (has step at rear of pan) but does not have the front pass. side corner of the pan clearanced for exhaust, so as long as you have this style pan, this filter will work for you,if you have the corner with the clearance for exhaust, it will NOT work for you bc it will hit the pan, you would need one like the old one i removed.as for quality.. it feels solid, it does say Made in USA on it so that's a plus, the gasket is a rubber/cork type, ive never used one of this style so we'll see how it holds up over time, the ring that goes up into the trans that seals the filter to trans is a little tedious to remove the old one and install the new one, but just take your time and don't damage the transmission, *tip: an 18mm socket fits the seal pretty good to assist in installation.

LMAO
I bought a 2001 Chevy s-10 zr-2 for cheap that wouldn't shift into gear without being overfull of fluid so I figured they used the shallow pan filter last time it was serviced so probably easy fix with filter swap. Turned out I was right about the wrong filter but it was sitting in the bottom of the pan LMAO. Nice little pickup now

OEM kit fits perfectly and comes complete with everything you need.
Original Equipment Manufacturer or OEM parts is always the best way to go. It may cost a little more sometimes but think about how many times you want to redo the job or halfway through the job realize the part doesn’t fit. This kit fit perfectly and came with everything necessary to do the job and that’s what you want when you only want to do it once.

Does not fit if you have a Pan with a Triangle Recess on front RH side.
Does not fit if you have a Pan with a Triangle Recess on front RH Side, check before you buy as it is a pain to get the pan off!

Good Product
AC Delco original equipment. Installation fairly simple, if you can change the water pump on your vehicle than this should be similar. I recommend using permatex gasket sealer instead of silicone or RTV.

Fit perfect
Fit perfectly after getting to it, that's a different review. Cheaper then anywhere else and have no more issues.

Filter does not fit
Seal fits, gasket fits but filter does not fit. Cannot put back the pan because of the stupid filter shape. See picture. I have a GMC Canyon SLE 2011, 2.9L, 2WD Automatic. Amazon fit tool said it was fitting but nope. How to return the stuff now the seal is press fit into transmission $@!#! Update, seller will ship the good one. Support was great !
