Product Description A clumsy kid in a primitive jungle tribe suddenly gets amazing magical powers, and creates chaos as he learns to use them. TAK AND THE POWER OF JUJU is a CGI slapstick comedy set in a fantastical jungle world. The series follows the Pupununu people, an unlucky, primitive tribe, and their struggle with the Jujus ancient, mysterious magical beings who live among them. The only Pupununu who has Juju Powers is Tak, an impulsive kid whose main interest is goofing off with his friends. Taks powers allow him to access magic usually only available to the Jujus. But Tak has had zero magical training. So instead of giving him success and respect, his powers -- combined with his over-active imagination, his awkwardness, and his plain bad luck -- always get Tak (and the villagers and even the Jujus) into outlandish trouble. This is a feature-quality CG show with dense backgrounds, and a lush, kinetic jungle environment. Its style and character design are different from anything else on Nick. .com Based on the video game Tak and the Power of Juju, Tak and the Power of Juju: The Trouble With Magic is a Nickelodeon CGI-animated show about a bumbling young Shaman Tak and the Pupununu tribe. The somewhat dim tribesmen live in a lush jungle and depend upon their Chief, warrior Lok, and shaman Tak to keep them safe and thriving. Unfortunately, the Chief is basically just a figurehead, Lok is a coward, and the impulsive and often irresponsible Tak lacks the training to control his magic. In "Woodiefest," Tak's attempt to thwart the stampeding Woodies by conjuring up a magical warrior highlights his magical deficiencies, but some creative thinking and a little help from the warrior Lok might just save the day. Other episodes find Tak, his friends Jeera and Kiko, magic teacher Jibolba, and the rest of the Pupununu fooled by braggarts, flatterers, and false shaman, and struggling with the need to impress, be appreciated, and belong. The end result is invariably magic gone awry and a lesson learned about doing what's right and being true to oneself. In the final episode "Secession", Tak and his friends Kiko and Jeera establish their own society without rules, but soon discover that unchecked wishes can quickly get out of hand. While the action is plentiful and the potty-humor and slapstick amusing, Tak and the Power of Juju is really just one more Nickelodeon animated program. Bonus features include a picture-in-picture comparison of the episode "To Zaria with Love" with the original storyboards, five Tak and the Power of Juju shorts, and a 2-1/2 minute segment of voice talent interviews. Interesting Show
This episode features five episodes, spread out in ten segments. Episodes included:"Woodiefest / Loser""A Shaman's Shaman / The Gift""The Three Chiefs / The Party""The Beast / To Zaria With Love""Girls Only / Secession"Overall, it's a nice set but the show is just kind of so-so. It's not the best Nicktoon, but it's not the worst either.

Pretty Good
Tak is a newer show that came on Nick about a year ago and it is based on a popular game series. The series is funny and mostly entertaining. So if you are looking for a good show...then Tak is it.While it may not be a good as some other Nick shows, it still has its entertaining moments. This DVD contains several episodes from the series and they're available for a good cheap price.I recommend that it should be viewed at least once. So buy now and enjoy!!!
