Used and missing parts.
Product came used and missing parts. No cord so machine is not even functional. Package also did not have any other box beside the original product box which was in bad shape and torn with multiple re-taping marks. Horrible quality.

Great heater!
Great. Well build heater. Note: No cord is supplied. Or plug. Easy, do it yourself wiring . Also note. The fan runs continuously The thermostat controls the element only.

It's warm but not hot
I was looking for a portable heater that could run on 230vac with a 20amp breaker. Surprisingly there are very few to choose from and the Dewalt 3.3 is one of the few. This heater works well but not great, I measure the heat output with a kitchen thermometer and it read a max of 127 degrees. Because it has a good size fan it does a reasonably good job of heating my 700 sqft workshop although to heat my shop a little faster I also use a 120vac heater at the same time and then turn it off once my shop comes up to temperature. I then leave the Dewalt running to maintain the temperature. Also this unit does not come with a cord so I had to add my own which was fairly easy. The unit is well made and the outside of the heater remains cool to the touch. All in all it's an okay heater

Very bad product, very expensive and does not heat anything, I do not recommend it.

Good heater. Easy and safe to use.
It is easy to transport and use. Heats up quickly and safe for indoor use. Make sure you get the right cord and plug to go with it. I used 12/3 soow and 30amp twist lock plug. Both can be found on Amazon.

Does not put out heat
This would be great for a really small area!! We had a mechanical room we needed to keep warm during construction of our home. We ended up tenting the heater to get enough heat. Not the best from DeWalt!

This item is sold without the power cord. In this situation the item requires a 30 amp 240V circuit so you'd need to buy a special plug and cable to accommodate that kind of amperage. Not sure exactly the cost of that kind of cord but it is an extra expense to buy plus hire someone to do the wiring. All unnecessary in my opinion since I've bought small space heaters in the past that are 30 amp devices and they included the cord and at a much much lower price I might add. I did call Dewalt and ask why they didn't include the cord and the agent wasn't entirely sure. The item is branded Dewalt but made by MR Heater I believe. The item seems solid enough but for the price I'd suggest getting one that doesn't need you to buy extra parts just to make it work. Some Dewalt heaters do include a cord but this specific model does not. You will need to check the chart to clarify if your heater does actually need you to go the extra mile or two just to get it to work.
