Great stuff! We used this for our tannerite gender reveal! If your wanting to do a tannerite gender reveal this is the best stuff to get! The color is bright blue and works perfect for the gender reveal explosion! We ordered two of these so that we made sure we had enough for the 10 lb tannerite! Go big or go home!!!

We purchased 2 containers (10lb total) of this blue chalk to use for our DIY gender reveal. We separated the 10lbs of chalk powder into 5-6 quart-sized Ziploc bags and placed them around and on top of two 1/2lb containers of tannerite (prepared on-site). We read that the 1:10 ratio is what works best, and I would agree!We had a tannerite malfunction (still don't know what caused it) where after we shot the container through the front¢er, it didn't explode and the round popped 2 of our bags of chalk... The second shot went through the other container of tannerite, and went off perfectly! The photo I posted shows the aftermath of 10lbs of chalk with just 0.5lb tannerite (the other didn't work).I would absolutely purchase this chalk again, and would recommend it over the "color run" chalk that is more than 5 times the cost! If you're trying to get a lighter color, just mix in 2-3lbs of white chalk and it would look great.

If you are purchasing this for your baby gender reveal, make sure you have a clear shot to your tannerite. There should be no chalk blocking your shot. I put 4 lbs of tannerite in the center of a UTZ cheese ball container and filled 15 lbs of chalk around and on top of it. Five .270 WIN rounds later and no boom. It was like shooting concrete.Anyway, I did it the right way the next day with the drastically more expensive chalk from the local chain hardware store (same brand of chalk). 10 lbs chalk - 2 lbs tannerite made a huge cloud of blue.5 stars

I used 3 containers and 4 pounds of tannerite for a gender reveal!!Make sure you put the tannerite in a straight line for the bullet to hit and pack the chalk on top of it so the cloud will go up not out

Big jug of chalk line chalk...not sure what else to say. The price was right. The chalk pours out (or squirts out) of the cap nicely. Lays down chalk lines fine. I actually use this to mix in with drywall mud for repairing final imperfections...this way I don't miss light sanding any spot prior to priming new drywall.

We used his for or gender reveal. We used two of these containers. Put chalk powder in gallon zip lock bags in a box on top of tannerite (I think we used like 10 small containers??? This was like 2.5 years ago) Mark a target on the box and have fun exploding! This made a beautiful blue exploding cloud!

I actually ordered these to use to mark trail when Hashing while deployed overseas. The blue powder marks well and we switch colors every Hash to keep people from getting lost on old trails since we can only Hash in a defined space.
