Fresh Black Italian Summer Truffles (2 ounce)

The truffle arrived in an old used jewelry box, with nothing to keep it fresh. By the time I got it home and was thinking of using it, I noticed mold on it. I just tossed it and ordered another from D'Artagan, which arrived, packed nicely with a small cold pack to keep it fresh.
