Blue

Derek Jarman’s ‘Blue’ was a surprisingly very immersive experience. Yes, it is just an unchanging image of a blue screen, but when I focused on that image and allowed the soundtrack to wash over me; I was eventually vacuumed into the world of the film and started to see, or imagine, images within the blue. I would now love to see the film in a theatrical setting.I certainly enjoyed 'Blue' far more than I have enjoyed other Jarman films.My Derek Jarman Top 5 (in no order)1. The Tempest.2.
