Great item, works as posted

So I bought this to throw a wire antenna into a tree in my back yard. It's very long and extremely sturdy. So sturdy in fact, that I had to cut it to fix an issue I was having. High quality stuff and really slick so it's easy to throw. Just wear gloves.I threw the wire up and I had a carabineer attached to one end. It got snagged in the tree. I thought I could just snap the snag it was stuck on, or at the very least the wire. 10 minutes of pulling and dragging, using all sorts of leverage, neither the snag nor the rope broke. I was bending the tree at one point. Not much, because it is a large tree, but it was swaying.Ended up having to cut the rope and now I have some rope and a carabineer stuck in my tree. Lesson learned, don't have anything tied to the other end of the rope until after it's up in the tree.

The spool was wound tight to the very edge but was difficult to rewind. A little larger, more shock resistant spool would be better.

I used this to get a hand chain saw over branches more than twenty feet overhead. Worked like a dream. I had never heard of "slick" line before this. It genuinely is just that. The accuracy is as good as you can manage throwing a baseball. It's that easy.

Good stuff, no complaints

The combo pack saves you money if you need each product. I’m happy I found it. The bag is a good, goldilocks weight that has mass enough to get through foliage without much deflection but isn’t so heavy it that it would affect how far you could throw it. The line is strong, smooth and light.

I needed to hang a rope swing from a large branch about 30’ above the ground for a rope swing. Bought this and watched a couple of videos on throwing technique and gave it a try. Took about 10 attempts but finally nailed it. The string is really strong and slides across branches really well. My suggestion is to use a knot that isn’t too tough to untie because sometimes when the throw goes through the wrong branches it’s easier to lower the bag to the ground, untie it and pull the string back through and then tie it again and start over. Also do watch videos on how to throw the bag, it’s more of a sling than a throw. Very little stress on the shoulders when done properly!

Works extremely well! Would definitely buy again in the future!

Good throw kit. The bag has held up well and the lightweight polyester cord is great for throwing and does not tangle. The only downside is that the cord has little abrasion resistance when exposed to perpendicular wear (I used it to pull another 4mm line sideways, and it wore rapidly). However, used just for up and down I have no concerns and it is a good bit of gear.

The throw line is faulty and snaps in the tree.
