FidoRido Dog Car Seat - Pet Booster Car Seat with Cover, Harness and Straps - Durable Plastic Base, Comfortable Cushions, Easy to Install and Clean

After watching some videos of crash tests of other dog car seats, I was horrified. So many did not work at all, and let the dog go flying like a missile. We also wanted seats where the dogs (shih tzu and chiweenie) look out the window of our Highland or Traverse. These do that. They are very easy to install - much easier than the 2 other we tried. One of the ones we tried gets the highest rating on a dog car seat testing site. It probably is the safest, but it was a pain to get the dogs into. The FidoRido has not been crash tested, but it seems that it would do a good job. We hope we never have to find out. But, we have peace of mind now, better than we used to have. Especially since the chiweenie always insisted on driving (wanting to sit in my lap). The cover is easy to take off and launder. The construction is top notch. The little bag in front is perfect for the leashes. I don't thing you can go wrong with this seat. And it is easy to install and remove the seat.

This product is amazing. What I love most about this seat is that it tethers my pup from each side so that she can not get into any trouble while I am driving. Also, it takes about 5 minutes before she is out for the count. She can stretch out and run in her dreams without resistance. My only comment is more of a wish. It comes with the white covering but it would be great if we were given options of other colors. Luckily, it removes easily for cleaning. I am attaching a picture of my pup, Lola, laying down in the booster seat. She is a two year old Havanese and weighs 13lbs.

This is a great idea! It's probably worth $40. It's just a plastic bin with slots for the seatbelt, and a piece of foam with a fitted cover (with foam around the top of the bin). It's soft for the dog. I hope it lasts. My small dog (9 pounds and a shorty) can't see out of the window, which is one of the reasons I bought it. It's not high enough. The best part about it is that it secures with the seatbelt. That's an important difference between this seat and many others on the market.

We love this thing! Wish I’d bought one long ago. She’s up higher so she can see, no more putting her feet up on the console or window sill. My frenchie loves is, she no longer even tries to wander around the car. It’s easy to install and move. Easy to wash or lint roller. I do use the leash attached; I know she’s secure and she doesn’t mind it. She’s a Boston mix, 25lbs, long legs. She can move around, stretch out no problem. Nice cushion side edges allow her to hang her silly head over the side as she likes!

Was worried I wouldn't be able to find anything for my medium sized 27 lbs 9 year old Shitzu- Doxy mix. We LOVE this thing fits perfect right inbetween my hubby and me in our Dodge Ram 2500 and gives her plenty of room just for her. We have gone on several long drives and wow what a difference. She sits still and can lay down comfortably.

I am beyond happy with this car seat. I love that it has 2 leads, one on each side to secure my dog in place so he can't jump out on the sides.It feels so sturdy and comfortable I cannot express how much of a piece of mind this car seat has brought me knowing that my dogs will be safe during our car rides.

Overall, this has been great for our long trips to Florida. Once Max is strapped in, he settles right down and seems to be very content. The only reason I gave this a 4 is because the design doesn't accommodate for the slant of the back seat. I need to find something to prop up the back so that the seat is a little more level. The other suggestion I have for the manufacturer is to utilize all the empty space in the body of the item. Open the sides so that we can put all of our dog traveling stuff neatly in there.

This is working great for my little pup who suffers from motion sickness. This seat is high enough for her to actually see out the window! It's lightweight enough to move front to backseat with little effort and is sturdy enough for my peace of mind. Best bonus of all was the excellent customer service from the seller. Very helpful! The seat arrived within a few days of ordering.

that is the best seat for dogs for cars in the market, it is easy to put and remove, it is very well made, the height is perfect so your dog can look out of the window, and most importantly, keep your dog safe and comfortable, great for long and short trips, was delivered on time and straight home.
