Good conclusion, but still leaves you wanting more
I adore Supergirl and this volume makes a good closing arc for her. As with all comics however the story does have a couple slight jumps that in order to get the whole story you'd need another comic. However this volume is mostly one coherent story.Supergirl is learning how to live on Earth and what her place is in the world. She's finally more at peace with her surroundings. However, be careful when getting this or any graphic novel from amazon. Lately their packaging has been subpar and makes it so you aren't getting it in "mint condition". It's more of a used quality, like a library book.

Just when it was getting interesting
Collects Supergirl (2011) # 34-40, Supergirl: Future's EndIssue 34 (written by Tony Bedard, art by Karl Moline): This one is part of the far-too-long "Doomed" crossover, and ends in a cliffhanger that you'll need to buy another book to see what happens next. It introduces a new character, paralyzed African-American Michael, as a possible Earthling boyfriend for Kara. It shows how being a Red Lantern finally got Kara's excess anger out of her system.Issue 35 (Bedard, Jonboy Meyers): Well, most of it. Red Hood shows up, and she yanks him by the throat and flies him out a window (sigh). Then they team up to fight people with kryptonite guns that don't seem to hurt her much (?) I guess her suit protects her.Issues 36-40 (K. Perkins, Emanuela Lupacchino): With the new author and new artist, now there's a reason to buy this book. Kara is abducted by aliens and invited to join Crucible, an intergalactic training school for young superheroes. Guest-starring Superboy, Maxima, and [Captain] Comet.Supergirl: Future's End (Bedard, Lupacchino): - As usual with the Future's End one-shot issues, they don't have anything to do with the plot of the rest of the book as they take place in a future "five years from now" that will probably never happen. Kara is turned into a cyborg by Brainiac.Alas, just when Supergirl got a good writer and a good artist and a good story (for once), they canceled the book. She next appears in Justice League United Justice League United Vol. 1: Justice League Canada (The New 52)Also, there is a digital comic based on the show, which will begin to be printed in May.The Adventures of Supergirl (2016-) #1

It's sad to see a character with so much potential being wasted with such trivial anger issues. There's practically no character development. Sure her story isn't exactly rainbows and candy, but it's no reason why she remain such a little brat for almost all the new 52.
