Other reviewers have noted that the chocolate coating on these Zone bars can melt in high temperatures. It doesn't affect the taste of the bars, but it is a mess to open the bar wrapping if the bar is still hot while you eat it. For this reason, chocolate coated bars, by any manufacturer, are not our choice for carrying as a game snack on a hot day. But other than that, we really love these bars. One of the 3 boxes was opened and one bar missing. It made me anxious to eat any of them

We use it for lunch with fruit. We were supposed to get part mint but that never came. All peanut butter came.

I eat bars almost every morning for breakfast. I have tried over 100 kinds and types of bars. Everything from fiber, to protein, to nutty. These bars are my favorite ones. They remind me of the Carnation Instant Breakfast bars that I used to eat as a kid. They are not exactly the same as those, but the only ones I can find in the market that are even close. These bars have a great texture, just enough mint taste as to not overwhelm (they are not breath freshers - if you need that get a real mint). From a nutritional standpoint they are pretty good. Really good considering the taste. The outside chocolate is a little waxy, but I expect that as it protects the heat your fingers produce from melting the covering and leaving chocolate on the tips of your fingers. The inside of the bars are crunchy and tasty. They have a slight mint flavor that is just right for mint lovers, even first thing in the morning. I have tried all the other flavors too. The Fudge Graham and Peanut Butter ones are also very good.

My husband needs snacks with high protein and he loves thos one.

I love this flavor and it is no longer in stores.

About a year ago I was looking for some way to add protein to my diet. My doctor said I needed to drastically cut my sugar intake, and I finally saw the light. So I started drinking protein shakes for breakfast, but wanted something else that was a little more substantial. So I started looking for some protein bars.The problem is... most of them taste like something scraped off of a factory floor. But these in particular are really good. I'm a year in, and I probably have one every day. They've got a ton of ingredients and aren't perfectly healthy, but they're a big improvement over donuts and taste really good.

I ordered a few boxes of these and there was nothing wrong with anything... I received the order just like I was supposed to and all of the bars were fresh with no rips or anything in the boxes or packages; EVERY single bar was fresh out of the package, which is the way it should be... I have ordered many things online but this was the first time I had ordered a food product from Amazon, so, I was hesitant about doing it, but I will order this product online from Amazon.com from now on, especially when I'm outside the U.S. Gracias Amazon.com-paul
