Nice and easy.
Worked! Used shrink plastic which melted right down tova perm. Seal. Runs the fan at what looks like normal speed. Far cheaper then a new fan.

it's a TEG alright...
They work as a TEG, but don't expect nearly the power they are advertising in the graphs. With a load resistor at 2.5 ohms, T cold side 28C, I increased temperature on hot side slowly and it hit a max of 1.89V before failing. The second device gave similar performance, but I didn't run it into failure. They function as a TEG and it might run your fan depending on load resistance (pay attention to this because they lose efficiency quickly if the load R is away from the match).

Worked to repair heat powered stove fan
Sweet! This was an exact fit to replace the burned out peltier place on my battery-less wood burning stove fan. I only needed one, but got the two pack just in case.

Bought 2 & 1 failed in 2 weeks
Wood stove fan failed so I looked up repairs. A review here stated this was the fix. For less than $10, how could I go wrong. So, I tested my fan itself, no problems. I R&R'd the old sync and THE FAN WORKED AGAIN... for about 2 weeks. So, since I had bought a 2-pack of these things, I swapped in the second one. I was ELATED again to see that the fan started spinning! I'll post an update after some time OR when / if this one also fails. At moment, 50% odds aren't so good... but I'm fairness, I'm not sure this was is intended use.
