Work well
Frequently use these for holidays in my 40L Biorb. They seem to keep the water pretty clean and the fish alive. Works.

Rubbish
Waste of money they do not break down, this has been in the tanks for 2 weeks. Luckily the person house sitting for me Realised these blocks was not feeding the fish so popped some food in for the fish Otherwise I don’t think I’d have fish left after my holiday 😡 avoid this product don’t waste your money, I brought 2 for different tanks and neither of them worked.

Used several times
I’ve used this product several times in my 64L aquarium. One block is sufficient for a two week trip away. I’ve not lost any fish either time. One caveat is to make sure you get the one called Holiday Menu, and not the one simply called Holiday. I tried the one simply called Holiday and lost a bunch of fish. The Holiday Menu one has been spot on every time. It doesn’t make the water cloudy unless you’ve put too much in. I tried two once and had to remove one due to the way it made the water cloudy. I’ve learned that I can rely on the Holiday Menu one to keep my fish happy for two weeks.

Useless inedible slime
Dropped into the tank, went on holiday for 7 days and came home to a dark slimy tank and most of my Neon Tetras dead. The block was exactly as it was when I left. The fish hadn't touched it and the only effect it had was creating a dark slime on the filter and the glass and thermostat etc. Totally useless. I scooped it out and put it in the bin. Still solid. I have a second pack for my next holiday. I guess I will have to get a neighbour to feed the new fish I had to buy. Do not buy this if you value your fish. Thankfully Neons are pretty cheap and I hadn't named them all. But Fred and Betty are definitely dead. I guess some of the survivors lived by cannibalising Fred and Betty like Yellowjackets or that one where the plane crashed on the mountain. Anyway I'm getting off track. Do Not Buy!
