Hydronix ICF-2512-ALK Alkaline Remineralization & pH
I had a Reverse Osmosis system installed and the company that installed the system put this filter in. I didn't know what it was for and after explaining that the RO system removes all the good minerals and well as all the bad stuff, this filter puts the "good" stuff back in the water. I've been using this filter for 6 years now and the water does taste good with it. It's also nice to know that there are beneficial minerals in the water.

Added this to the output of my 8 stage RO System. The water tastes so good! Just as it should taste.
I first tried an Ispring fa15. The water didn't taste right at all. This Hydronix is spot on with water taste and has a long life. Just make sure to get the correct connection fittings because it doesn't ship with any. Love this - makes all the difference
I just had a big expensive 5-stage purifier installed. When my water still didn't taste to my liking and I tested it, I found it remained a bit too acidic for me. The guy who installed the filtration system recommended that we add the Hydronix filter and it did the trick. Now our water is much more alkaline and tastes fantastic. When we go on a car trip, I now fill re-usable glass bottles with water from home so I don't have to buy bottled water from the store.

I live in apartment and I use it with my RO system, under my sink. Not sure about longevity though.

Hard to find and adding good to water is a plus
Hard to find and adding good to water is a plus. No there not a waist as many say but alkaline the water some that can only help ones health.
