Not good for heavy riders
At 240 lbs, this was quite uncomfortable to use. Even after setting it to have the least amount of spring, it jostled me around, and if I’m being fully honest here... crushed my nuts.I got this to test if it would work for me. Unfortunately, the test failed. I couldn’t dial it in no matter what I did.

Spring breaks with normal use
Sprlng broke during normal usage, only 4 months after purchase. i ride my bike only in the city so this is very disappointing. I am 220 pounds in weight but set up the spring according to my weight. Definitely poor quality.

Finally, comfort down below.
Bought the spring from the Rinsten Kickstarter funding program I found last year 12/2017. The wait was worth it. Received it 11/2018). I have ridden three times so far 28 to 40 miles each ride. It takes a bit to get the right adjustment, having a trainer helps the setup. I no longer feel the discomfort at the 30 mile mark that I use to feel. Looking forward to some longer rides in the near future. Now the quest for the perfect saddle.

Decent, works, inefficient
I was a backer for kickstarter so got this for $35... it's okay but I took it off my bike. I'm giving it 4 stars because it does what it's intended to do but buyers should be aware what it won't do, or what bad things it does. It bounces first of all, so your energy is displaced and wasted as you peddle. If you bike slowly and want a comfort ride, this works great and I'd say is better than a spring seat. If you intend to go fast, don't get this. It works as well as a thudbuster (which I also own) so as a cheap alternative to seatpost shocks this is a good bargain. But as noted, it makes for awkward peddling and although you can slide it forward and back to reduce bounce, it always will be there.

Mounted backwards.
Mounted backwards the saddle leans down in front when deflected by a hard hit. This helps move the pressure off my prostate to areas better suited to the strain. I ride with a slight frontward tilt. The sideways tilting is unusual, but I'm learning to compensate just as you need to learn when to get off the saddle. Definitely reducing the pain for an old guy.
