We bought this inexpensive little pea sheller to save our family from the old, raw-thumb, slow-as-molasses method of shelling peas manually. After reading the product description, we were certain that, at least for the most part, we'd save a ton of time and effort.Alas, it was not to be. Instead of de-husking our peas, the Pea Peeler just squished them to mush. What a colossal disappointment.We gave this product One Star because the option of Zero Stars wasn't available. It is terrible. Flimsy. The "countertop suction" on the bottom, wouldn't work either. Completely misleading in the product description. An absolute waste of money, and I really can't believe Amazon will even allow them to make the false claims that this seller makes about it.We would strongly NOT recommend it.When all was said and done, we returned it for a refund and spent the evening with one another, off our phones and enjoying the time shelling our peas by hand.

Product was meant for Beans shelling but had an issue .The customer service handled the complaint excellently

It doesn't work. It just squeezed the beans .

Complete waste of my time and money. This thing just smashes the peas. In addition, the suction cup on the bottom does not work (at all). So if it actually shelled the peas, it would be very difficult to use because, since it is so light and flimsy, you would need a third hand to hold it down while you put the pea in with one hand and turned the handle with the other. Complete disappointment. I buy a lot of stuff online and this is the first review I’ve ever taken time to write because this product is just so bad. Should not be on the market.

Breaks the peas up, slow to operate. I can shell peas much faster and without breaking the peas if I just do it by hand.
