This book is absolutely incredible and has changed the way I play slots. I’ve always had problems playing slots i have never really won anything. After reading this book I took what I learned and headed to vegas. After three nights on the strip. I came home with more money than I came with and actually had a good time. I had the first hand pay of my life on this trip! I will re read this book everytime I’m going to vegas.

I've purchased several slots related books on Amazon and this has been the best. I recommend purchasing and reading this book. Either the beginner or advanced player can get a few good tips out of it. I should also mention slot machines are house advantage games. Enjoy this book but proceed with caution with your casino gambling activities.

This was a fun book. Different from the rest. I like the common sense approach emphasis on self control. Def made me a more methodical player. I also shared it with my dad and he enjoyed it as well.

Not a bad book on slots. Covers alot of ground including great tips and strategies on playing. Mr. Douglas did a great job on a great book.

Great read for anyone from the casual player to the most serious. John really does a great job balancing technical information in an easy to read anecdotal format. You will definitely walk away with at least one or two strategies to use. Great incite into how the casino and in particular slot machines are designed to keep you playing. Some very useful information to try the next time you are at the casino. Also, as a history buff I loved the lesson about the evolution of slot machines. I would highly recommend this book for anyone, it's a great read!

My knowledge of slot machines has always been pretty basic - choose a bet and push the Spin button, but this book taught me lots of things that I had no idea about.The book is written in a visual style that makes it easy to follow and fun to read. The personal stories are a great addition as well. It's very informative with chapters about how slot machines work, the types of machines that exist now and specific things to look for on the machine when playing. I'll definitely be applying some of the strategies next time I go to the Casino.
