I ran out of thin, round, elastic, so several masks were waiting for elastic ear pieces. This particular kind of elastic is not strong enough to hurt your ears, at least not for several hours, which is as long as I have tested it. I cut the elastic probably twice as long as necessary and it can be tied to the right length to fit. (I have retied them several times, but it isn't always possible if the knot can't be untied.)This spool looked like it was the same as what I used to have, and it was, so I'm happy with my purchase. The elastic is small enough to fit into a tapestry needle, and maybe a sewing needle if the eye is large enough.I bought white, even though the colors were tempting.

It was perfect. I had bought a similar product before by mistake and found a way to use it. So I bought more. It was quick delivery also. Perfect for my prodject.

I started using 1/4 inch elastic to make masks for the family which worked out except with my 8 year old granddaughter. The 1/4 inch bothered her skin so I found this to use for her masks.So far she likes it much better. It feels softer on her skin plus the elastic is super simple to work with. My grandson also wants a mask with this elastic. I know some may question the durability and I’ve also considered that. It’s plenty strong and even if it wears out it’s so easy to cut a piece and push it in the casing with a large needle and tie the two ends together.

This was for me a miss purchase. Not what i expected

Update:I ordered the pink. It's not as bright pink as the picture. It still works; just was hopping for a bright bright pink!I didn't realize how small it was when I orded it. I'm using it for 😷. One works fine, but I use two strand for the ear loops. No one has complained that it is uncomfortable. Though I just got it yesterday; I had bought some at Dollar Tree about a month ago.It works if you have nothing else!

I need this black elastic cord because I work in the shoe department and people break the thread and it's the only way I can put them back together. I work at Walmart and they don't carry black elastic cord. The timing for this coming was perfect this is my second one and I had just run out of my first one. I'm so happy that I can get it from you here. I even tried going to a hobby store and they didn't have it. Thank you for having it!

This is much more like 0.6mm than 1mm! It’ll do the job, making earloops for masks, but it’s definitely thin so will have to be careful about length to stop it cutting in. Won’t be purchasing again.

Wanted it for making face masks but may be a bit thin. Do you have something a bit thicker?
