Brilliant film

My little grandchildren ( age 3 and5 ) absolutely love this DVD and have watched it countless times.My hubby loves it too !!! Ha ha!!They still get excited about the race Turbo is in and the ordeals he faces!!Would definitely recommend for boys and girls alike

Given the subject matter (snails!) I wasn't expecting too much from this film, in fact I was wondering how on earth they were going to drag such a simple (and predictable) story out for 90 minutes. But they do, and they do it really well. You soon forget any earlier cynicism about how snails can manage to do anything without arms (!), and get wrapped up in the story, and, although it is (of course) predictable, it's done very well, so you are never quite sure how it's going to end. There's some nice characters too - again fairly predictable, but nicely done. The arch-rival (is he nice or nasty?) is especially well realised.It's not up there with Toy Story or Shrek, put it's a much better film than you probably expect and the kids will love it. It has become a regular in our house.

Wow I wish I had thought of this! Brilliant and awesome and so fun! This film takes the mickey out of it'self in a way that makes it more credible. That might make more sense once you have seen it. Turbo is such a driven little character who draws in everyone around him both snail and human though not initially otherwise the story wouldn't be. For anyone who likes a little guy takes on the big people's world and wins above the odds story.It's snails dressed as cars...great fun and pure fantasy fun...loads of famous voices too.Having said all that both times I played it my little 3yr old fell asleep he prefers fireman sam and peppa pig. I think while suitable for all ages, kids older than mine would enjoy this more as many jokes are satire and cerebral in nature which little ones might not get.

Great cast, Great film. Enjoyable for all ages. Would recommend to anyone.

Kids loved it

Love this film - it is a little gem which should have got a lot more attention than it did and all these years later my Son is still hoping for a sequel!!! The story of Turbo the super speedy snail is a great watch for the family with some wonderful use of 3D throughout!
