I only need it to plug in to my Audi A3 8V and charge my iPhone and it does exactly that unlike other similar products. My car has Bluetooth so the cable isn’t need for media so can’t comment on that. Yet to use it properly so not sure about charging times either but so fair I’m happy!

Not a bad piece of kit at all. Recently got a mercedes but was 2010. Had SATNAV and Bluetooth but for calls only, couldnt get music out of it. Was debating whether to go all out and get an apple car play installed but was stupidly expensive. Found this and gave it a try. Works just like an AUX cable.Depending on where the port is in your care, this might be a bit short but for me I managed to make it work. The Lightning cable side of it is a little bit chunky and may not fit if you have a thick or chunky phone case/ coverOverall not a bad piece of kit to have for older gen MB's and the sound quality aint too bad. Does get te job done!

This cable is advertised as a fit for the Mercedes range. However it works great in my MK7 Golf and very easy to fit and fits my IphoneX perfectly. The cable is a great length. Giving you plenty of choice for locations on the dashboard for your phone. Great sound and value, and a lot cheaper than going to a VW dealership. Cannot fault it so far.

Had to buy a new one as the old one broke, this one broke after TWO DAYS.

Returned this as it doesn't play any sound. It does charge the phone but that's not why I bought it. No good for a Skoda Fabia :(

Delivery arrived on-time which was fab with no problems. Reading the Amazon details it clearly states it’s suitable for Mercedes SLK models.When you get the item and read the info/instructions provided, it clearly states this product not being suitable for an SLK which is contradictory and ultimately confusing.For anyone reading this, the lead fitted Ok (though a extremely tight and hard to pull back out of the media connection port inside the Merc, I assume because it was very new). But, it works completely fine when selecting the AUX option on the media stereo interface. Then your IPhone to select and play the Itunes.Very happy chappie and works completely fine and very clear.Above was on my SLK 2013 model hope this helps anyone.I only gave 4-Stars due to the conflicting information between the Amazon website to instruction manual of the lead itself above.I’m glad I went for the leap of faith and purchased it as I’m very completely chuffed I bought the above for my car.
