Pros:There is an actual white digitizer that controls the screen. The tools are exactly as pictured and work fine for the task or replacing the screen. Comes with the correct cut adhesives.Cons:OPTICAL CLARITY IS HORRIBLE. There is a visible cross hatch pattern on the entire digitizer that makes it appear like my retina display is highly pixelated. This is nothing to do with the LCD, but is an inherent design flaw with this brand of Digitizer. I have purchase two of this, one for the iPad mini and one for the iPad mini 3 retina. On the regular iPad mini, the pattern isn't such a big deal because it has a lower resolution screen, but on the iPad mini 3 it is very noticeable.The digitizer is glitchy not smooth. This isn't an installation issue (which can happen if something gets sandwiched inbetween the lcd and digitizer), as it is jumpy when you have just connected it and haven't laid it down as when you actually install it. This issue is present in both devices I installed this brand on.I hate to give a one star review if there is anything that the manufacture can do about it, but in fact this is a poor replacement part, and it seems like they are design flaws, that nothing short of a new manufacturing process are likely to fix.

Bad quality item

No home button is installed making this replacement screen unuseable.

It didn't work. touch is pressing the icon's on it's own. received a faulty item.

The product was great. As others have posted about similar products, the iPad mini has very small screws. I recommend carefully controlling where you put the screws - so that they can't be inadvertently picked up by a bare arm or sleeve! I used the instructions on iFixit.com. The only additional item I would have liked in the kit is a protective sheet for the LCD to be used when handling the LCD. Bits of glue etc. finds its way to the screen as you are working with the cables, and are very difficult to clean off satisfactorily. Otherwise, it works fine when installed.
