Generic Double Vehicle Hangers, Car Seat Hook _ Black

At the price, they are disposable. By keeping bags from spilling off the seat when you hit the brakes suddenly, and avoiding damage to produce, eggs and the like, as well as possible spills of liquids, they pay for themselves. I've had them for a year or so, though, and two of them have broken. On one, the cap on the end of the metal tube came off and then one of the pieces was lost. On another, the upper hook, the one that goes around the headrest column, snapped off. And I wish the hooks were a bit further apart. Still in all, a good item to have, and I have them for all the headrest pillars of both of my cars. It's easy to swivel them around behind the seat to get them out of the way. So: I recommend them, but consider getting a couple of spares in case yours break, too.

I hadn't thought out my intended use as much as I should have. I was going to use it as a trash bag hanger using plastic grocery bags as these are readily available and easily replaceable. The problem I have with this idea is not the fault of the item. It is very windy in my area and I occasionally drive with the windows down. The light plastic bag blows off the hooks and may even leave the vehicle with said trash in it. Would work fine if I never lowered the windows while driving or waiting parked in a windy area. I didn't return this item as it may come in handy while traveling (with windows up) on the highway to hold bags of munchies, etc.. Easy to put on and off so keep it stored in the car if such a use arises.

I bought a new car and had a dilemma. When I have a passenger in my front seat I would put my purse on the back seat...the new car had much more room back there and I could no longer get my purse back! This hook hanging on the passenger seat was perfect. It's not overly big so it's not really an eyesore which is something I was concerned about (new car, remember?). I rarely use the second hook but I have hung a water bottle on it when I needed the cup holder space. The quality/sturdiness is excellent. The only thing keeping this from 5 stars is it would be nice to have a single hook option.

ordered on 11/15/2013 received 12/8. Talk about a slow boat from China this was on it. Seriously. I haven't used it yet, but did install it on a 2014 Equinox and the hook could of had a little bigger opening for a smoother fit around the headrest. Will write back when I actually use it.Update: I used this today and it was wonderful. I was able to hang 2 bags from it and one was large and heavy without any problems. Just a note: if you have seat covers that fit over headrests, it can NOT be used. Something to keep in mind.

Great to hold bags and my purse. Keeps things from sliding to the floor. I keep it on my front seat as I am driving without a passenger (just kids in the back) a lot. Keeps the diaper bag close at hand to grab anything I need with out digging. I can switch to hang to the back of the seat if someone is riding with me. I only wish the bag was a little wider so that the two hooks were a little further apart. It would be better when hanging two items on the hooks.

This is a great way to keep that tote style briefcase (or purse) from flying off the seat. Seemed like no matter how I try to keep my bag(s) from tumbling during a stop- the inevitable "upside down purse on the passage floorboard" seemed to be a regular occurrence. This has fixed the problem. Also nice that you can just swing it around to the back of the headrest when you have a passenger. End cap does tend to come off, so I ended up putting a little glue on it.

I bought several of these for stocking stuffers and one for myself, of course. Very handy to have so that the shopping bags don't open on the floor and my groceries roll all over the car. There is only one con that I have with this item. every once in a while it will spin to the front of the seat instead of hanging down the back and I will lean back against it when I get into the car.

awesome to hang purse on back of drivers seat. Only issue is sometimes the hook comes with my purse when taking out . Just as long as I notice it I can just put back together
