DonJoyKnee Brace Undersleeve, Open Patella, Neoprene

I have ordered two of these sleeves over the past two years. My brace came with the cloth sleeve, which was comfortable on my skin, but would slide quite a bit. I ordered these neoprene sleeve to help keep my brace in place and have not been disappointed. Right out of the package, it does fit me pretty tight. I have played soccer for decades, and my calves and quads are muscular, and wear a large size brace. The sleeve feels a little tight the first time or two, but then it stretches a bit and feels great. This sleeve fits under my brace fine, but of course, it is a little more tight than when not using it. This is not a super thick sleeve, but still enough to where your straps won't go to the same point as with the cloth sleeve. The first one I purchased, over a year ago, finally stretched to a point that I used it for working outside while wearing my brace. The new one is for the gym and soccer. Overall, the sleeve feels great, helps keep my leg muscles warm and my brace from slipping. I would recommend this to anyone who has a knee brace and suffers with chaffed skin and brace slippage.

Let's start with the price that you think is great until you get the product. Very flimsy, thing, no worth the money and now I find out the product doesn't have a return, so is like they are just taking your money and that's it, you in your type of business. But you can return brassiere to amazon that you already tried and didn't fit or are too big, who knew. So yes, I would give a Zero if I could, but there lower is one star. I don't recommend this product; you do not see what you get. You see a solid double neoprene brace in the picture. You get something half the thickness of what you see and very weak.

The DonJoy Knee Brace Undersleeve, Open Patella, Neopreneprene sleeves work great for me. The sleeves really do help hold my Don Joy Defiance 3 knee braces in place better than any other brand I've tried. There is always a little movement after an hour workout but not too bad. It is also nice to have that barrier between my skin and the brace. Definitely recommend these.

I found this sleeve when I was researching the DonJoy TROM brace after knee surgery. I was using a cutoff leg of some old long underwear to prevent irritation from the brace, and that started sliding the moment I stood up, so I figured this had to be an improvement. I debated about the size given the advice from an earlier poster, but I went ahead and got the two sleeves in the size that fit my leg measurement. The leg is basically an inverted cone shape, and I was concerned that if it was too tight it would just squeeze its way down.It definitely works better than my cotton sleeve, but there are many things that can help or hinder how well it stays. With the dry winter air, I have to think a lot more about applying moisturizer than I ever would have normally It also helps to have one's skin slightly damp, like after a bath or shower. I considered shaving my leg as well, but my wife thought I would not be able to handle the itching as it grew back ;)As the swelling went down from the surgery and I lost some muscle mass, the sleeve became very loose at the top. Rather than get a new one, we figured out how much to take in, and my wife sewed up a fold on the back side. That is where it would be nice to have some sort of size adjustment to cover the changing in leg size. I don't know if some sort of velcro tab or something would work, but I really didn't want to keep buying as my leg size changed.If you get this, I recommend getting two, so one can be worn while the other is cleaned and dried. It is comfortable and prevents the irritation and chafing from the brace padding and straps.

To be fair, the item is great. Very comfortable and works well an ACL knee brace... The crappy stars is due to Amazons seemingly continued delivery issues. Your delivery guarantees are a joke Amazon. Old school advice..... Dont make a guarantee unless you can stand by it or are prepared to do something about it when the guarantee is broken.

I combined the Donjoy Anti-Migration Band with the Donjoy Neoprene Undersleeve and I am completely satisfied with the end result, a better fitting brace with an added feeling of stability. The neoprene undersleeve is thinner than a regular neoprene knee sleeve.I used to have an old Donjoy Goldpoint in high school and was constantly in a battle to keep the brace where I wanted it and it could be quite uncomfortable.The anti-migration band on my new brace keeps it from slipping down my leg and the neoprene undersleeve allows the brace to grip the sleeve rather than my skin.I tried the Donjoy cotton undersleeve and also an EVS lycra sleeve that were not as comfortable and did not keep the brace aligned as much as I would prefer.

My unloader knee brace was really irritating my skin. Other sleeves caused the brace to slip. The pros with this sleeve are that it kept my brace mostly in place and protected my skin. The cons are that it’s hot (but actually not too bad) and it started falling apart almost immediately. At this point the seam at the back of the sleeve has unraveled half way up making it basically useless. My sewing skills are minimal and, given the stretchy nature of the neoprene, I think the trash is my only solution.

This is great for dealing with stubborn rubbing knee braces. It is neoprene so it doesn't breathe well at all and does cause the knee to sweat but it completely relieved the rubbing caused by my brace. The sizes run large so I would order a size smaller than you think you might need.

as described, arrived quickly. The thing I like about this undersleeve is that the brace won't slip when you have it on. I am looking forward to this in the wintertime, when it is cold outside. During the summer, this gets sweaty. It is nice to wear even without the brace on, for the compression quality of the undersleeve. Follow the measurement details, with Donjoy, once you know the sizing, it is always that size. I am currently wearing this with my OA Catalyst Propel custom brace.

Not impressed, I was misled with this product thinking it came with a brace. will be returning it

I should have bough a size smaller. The measurements are right but the sleeve could be tighter.
