Never regretted getting this heat mat. It helped germinate many of my cactus seeds. Warming up takes a while initially but it function nicely. Temp control is pretty accurate as far as I need it.

The heat mat is a heat mat; much to say about that.The controller is more interesting. The description says "Maintains a stable temperature between 68°F /20°C - 108°F/ 42°C " but the one I received actually is settable (and works correctly) between 40°F /5°C - 108°F/ 42°C. Much more useful IMO. Looks just like the one in the pic.I use the mat under a 100Ah lithium battery and it holds temp to within 0.2°F. I have it set to 59°F and has held that without issue to a little below freezing. I follow mild weather and so have not camped below 25°F with this setup. I taped the temp probe to the side of the plastic-cased battery and it tracks very closely with the BMS temp sensor (within 0.1°F). Very happy with this setup.-= Heads up =-it appears the temperature controller holds separate temp setpoints for Celsius and Fahrenheit, so if you switch the display from C/F it can be a completely different temp. This was completely unexpected and could cook/freeze your lizard, begonias, or whatever you are temp controlling. I advise doing the math then setting *both* sides to the same desired temperature in C/F, even if you don't plan on switching the display C/F. You Have Been Warned.

It has performed excellent. I am using this for an incubator. I have it lining the underside of a Rubbermaid 55 gallon tote. The sensor is inside the tote with the lid on. The inside temp has reached whatever temperature the thermostat is set to. Once the temperature is reached, it maintains it.

The seeds most certainly sprout faster with a heat mat. I was surprised how well that part works. Get a matt! But my only sunny corner is also a cold corner. That is why I'm not clear the controller does anything. These matts are very low power and never really get hot. Unless you have a very warm spot, a matt without a controller is fine.

Works great for maintaining my reptile enclosures. This is the 3rd one I've bought and would continue to get these for my use, I'm happy with how well they work. I use it sandwiched between ceramic tiles for better heat retention and temperature stability. Awesome product 👍🏼

This thing has worked great and has made germination so much faster! Temp control was easy to set up and i've had no issues. If you are starting seeds indoors i would highly recommend you getting one of these.

Works great but quit after just one season.

This unit works well. I'm 3 for 3 using to help germinate seeds in root riot cubes using this mat.
