VIDEO IS HOW THE WASHER WORKS/SOUNDS AFTER INSTALLING THE KIT I usually don't write reviews but this kit saved me from having to buy a new washer! I replaced the drive belt a month ago and thought I bought the right one. The washer made the worst noise while agitating (but would spin with no problem). Initially, we thought it was the transmission. After reviewing a number of YouTube videos we decided to try this kit first. We decided to make sure the kit came from Alliance. I couldn't believe the recently purchased belt as it was completely chewed up. Even though the seller listed that it could be used for the #38174 it definitely didn't work! This kit came sealed and stated "Genuine Parts" from Alliance Laundry Systems. #959P3. It took some time installing it but watching another YouTube video, I was able to install it myself (and I'm not a professional by any means!). The washer works great and even spins better than it did before (an extra perk). With all of that said, I would definitely recommend this product and will purchase from these sellers again if needed. (Hopefully not for a very long time though... ha!) Just for the record, I own a Speed Queen top loader Model AWN432SP111TW01.

Genuine replacement parts for Speequeen washing machine. The idler arm pulley is pre-assembled to the idler arm, which is convenient.The belt is also the official Alliance replacement part for my 13-year old Speedqueen model AWN432SP111TW0. You can buy with confidence.

As advertised - fixed slipping belt

My washer wouldn't spin fast enough to get rid of all the water on the spin cycle. After watching a YouTube video I increased the tension of the spring to get by and bought this kit for the repair that I knew was needed. The kid has everything you need including the bracket, new pulley ,belt, spring, everything you need. The YouTube video is especially helpful but I did have to loosen the motor more than the video said. Took about an hour and a half but I'm kind of slow. Saved me a ton of money. I did remove the pulley and applied some light grease to the bearing to make it last longer but I'm not sure that's necessary. Spin cycle goes very fast now with normal spring tension. I definitely recommend watching a YouTube video.

All parts worked properly.

I installed all the components with the belt being the last item to fit. My pulley had worn out so as per the service advice I got a whole kit as the belts wear too over time. It took all my strength and genious to get the belt on. Should've been a warning sign but assumed my old belt had gotten loose over the years. 1st time it started to spin it made a good awful crush sound and stopped dead with burnt out motor smell. I adjusted several components only for exact same result. After nearly burning out the motor I called a specialist Speed Queen repairer out. After $300 in bills he confirmed the fittings were fine, I had done an amazing job fitting everything correctly and all that was wrong with it was the wrong belt had been supplied in the kit. He ended up cutting the wrong belt off (it was so tight) and put the old worn belt back on which 6months later works perfectly (just a bit noisy). I ordered the kit so long ago (the machine worked for a while even with the worn pulley) that I have no option to return and no way I'm removing the other parts as it is a heavy/difficult job so basically Im down $350 and still have an old belt on the machine.
