Second, the apparant volume is misleading. I've seldom run across even dry concentrates that are as intensely flavorful as both this meat version and the seafood version (blue can). You really can't go wrong. Finally, some advise: when I purchased this the descriptions were a little vague, and I ended up buying several weights of the same product. I don't especially mind; I'm sure I'll use it all or gift some as a very special present. But please check the prices before you order. When I bought mine, the 1kg can was literally only $2 more than the 500gm can. That's like doubling your order for only two dollars.
