This was simple, yet fun to work with. The kit came with all the pieces (minus the electrical tape), easy to understand instructions and worked as described. A hint - you do need direct sunlight for this to work. It will not work if it’s cloudy. Makes it even easier for the kiddos to see that it’s powered by the sun!

It comes with 3 sets of experiments. The steps are easy to follow, and I liked the good quality of the product. My boy was so into building the projects and was so excited when he saw it worked! The were fairly straight forward to put together and came with clear instruction. Kids get to work hands on, building each component. They got to understand what motors do, how fans and propellers work and how electricity can be produced from sunlight. These kits are great for young scientists. Highly recommended for kids who want to learn about motors, building things and solar power.

Fantastic learning tool
We LOVED doing the projects included in this product. As a homeschool mom of a 5th grader we are always looking for different things to learn and use hands on to explore our world. The Giggleway DIY solar power kits were a perfect way to teach my son about solar power and actually went well with his lessons on solar energy and how it can be converted into power and different kinds of energy. We love this product and look forward to seeing and trying more. Highly recommend to any and everyone.

Amazing kit
Love love love this product! I tried it with my students today. I had 3 groups of students with 3 students in each group working on each of the solar kits. One group worked to engineer the fan, another worked on the windmill and another on the light. The students were engaged, involved and the instructions were very thorough and students were able to self direct themselves with little adult assistance!Very happy with this product and I can’t wait to try more STEAM products from giggleway!

Fun Learning Kit!
My 11 year old loved putting these 3 solar kits together! It was a really good fit for her ability level - not hard enough to be frustrating, but not too easy either. I really like that each kit had it's own set of solar panels rather than sharing one set among the 3 different builds. It's a lot of fun!

Perfect STEM project
We love this product! As a homeschooling family it was a perfect project for our kids to work on together. The instructions were straightforward. Highly recommend. This is the second product we purchase from Giggleway, we also recommend their DIY Robot.
