I live in a very humid area of the country and especially like the well-fitted and very sturdy hard shell case. This package has everything you need to begin using. And YouTube has many free teaching videos as well as links to free and inexpensive sheet music. I like this so much that I'm gifting my daughter-in-law one for Christmas.

This lovely Kalimba arrived the day after I ordered it, which was yesterday. It was in it's sturdy carrying case, shipped in a very nice cardboard box made for the purpose of shipping the Kalimba along with the described tuning hammer and other accoutrements. I really appreciate good packaging. This is a lovely musical instrument. When I opened the case the beauty and fine craftsmanship of this kalimba took my breath away. This kalimba exceeded my expectations. I took it out and after a few minutes trying it out I played a little tune. The sound is melodic, like silver chimes. The wood is beautiful with a lovely finish. I have wanted one of these for 45 years but thought they were something handmade only by the indigenous people of Africa and not available for purchase. The day before yesterday (May 21) I happened to see one on Youtube and found out that they are called a kalimba. Straight away I looked them up on Amazon and after reading some reviews I bought this one. I'm totally pleased with the craftsmanship, the sound, the fact that it arrived perfectly tuned and I am astounded by the sturdiness and quality of the kalimba's carrying case (which is so well made that it must be blast-proof). I think anyone who is musically inclined or even wishes they were, should get one of these. The melodic quality and ease of playing lightens the heart during these uncertain times. It's like medicine for the soul.

So beautiful ❤️ The sound is perfect. So peaceful and clear. Deserves more then 5 🤩 I'm learning how to play it and is really easy! I recommend this one and the color is so bright. Beautiful! I'm in love with it.

The media could not be loaded.  This kalimba is simply superb. The wood that it's made out of is very solid and looks beautiful. The metal feels dense and study and it's simple to tune with the provided hammer. The provided accessories are really helpful for getting started - the carrying case in particular is great and contains hard foam cutouts that fit the instrument perfectly for travel situations! I've only had it for a couple days now but have already decided to purchase several more for when gifting season rolls around. Would definitely recommend to anyone that's looking for a well crafted item that's both fun to use and looks great on display.

The Kalimba itself is fine. Narrower tines make it slightly harder to play. Comes with all the necessities. The highlight for me is the audio output. Not only allowing players to record their practices and performances, but also turn the instrument into a very nice sound source to put through your favorite pedals, effects processors, or synthesizers. Makes for an experimental/ambient goldmine of sounds. I recommend running the fingers through the tines but not plucking them, and caressing or tapping the back through a ton of flange, reverb and delay. In that exact routing order for extra wackiness.

I got this for my husband, and he absolutely loves it! It’s super easy to pick up, and gives very nice quality music!

Is any musical instrument easy to learn? Is it for beginners? All require practice, unless you just enjoy making random tones, which is good too. There is a technique to the 'pluck' so the bars will ring. Also, it depends on what you expect from it. I expect to be able to play 'O Holy Night' and add arpeggios and chords. Others might expect just to be able to enjoy the sounds. It is tonal in the key of C, but I plan on retuning with an accidental pitch (F#) to be able to produce the V/V. Nice tone, and very relaxing. I like it.It has a felt carrying case, but the box it came in offers the most protection.

Había visto en YouTube videos sobre la Kalimba y me llamaba mucho la atención, es por eso que aprovechando un descuento me topé con esta marca y la verdad que no podría estar mas contento: instrumento de madera de calidad (e color azul es increíble) y con una funda súper resistente. No soy profesional de la música, simplemente disfruto tocando alguna canción sencilla y la verdad que a mi me parece relación calidad-precio muy buena.

È un piccolo strumento in legno, dalla fattura gradevole, piccolo e maneggevole. Si presenta accessoriato di martelletto per modificare l'intonazione, di piccoli supporti in gomma da infilare sulle dita, e di una pratica sacca in velluto per il trasporto.Il suono è molto bello e delicato, un incrocio tra un metallofono ed un carillon, dolcissimo e molto gradevole.Come al solito Amazon impeccabile sulle consegne.Direi un ottimo prodotto da poter inserire in un contesto scolastico al posto del solito glokenspiel.

Es fácil de afinar y no me dio ningún problema desde que me la pillé

È uno strumento piccolo e affascinante, semplice da suonare soprattutto se si ha già una minima base musicale (conoscenza delle note banalmente). È comodo da portare in giro e ha un suono straordinario. Lo consiglio vivamente, soprattutto per il rapporto qualità prezzo, in particolare per il fatto che è provvisto pure di custodia,adesivi e libretto istruttivo.

Me ha gustado mucho.Todavia no la he probado con amplificador,aunque sin enchufar ya suena de fàbula.Los materiales y construcción se ven de calidad.Es muy fácil e intuitiva a la hora de tocar. Como instrumento de música para relajarte y poder llevártelo a cualquier lugar para tocar,es perfecto.Llegó un día antes del esperado. Bien embalado,con todo lo que prometía y en buenas condiciones. Ha sido una buena compra.
