Dont waste your money
This magic gate really isn't worth the money even though it was cheap enough. The only thing good is it's easy to assemble and stick, the loops are not positioned properly to loop over the hooks. It is not sturdy. It is no good for children or pets the slight push by our 9 week puppy and the straps broke, also pulled one of the sticky hooks off the wall with the plaster. All round rubbish product.

Perfect for an easy and cheap solution
Easy to install and cheap. Ideal for a short term solution.

Wouldn’t recommend for a pet that scratches and chews due to the material!
Had to return as faulty! But wouldn’t recommend using anyway if you have a pet that scratches and chews things as the material seemed very flimsy to me!

The sticky hooks are best after 1st try so dont mess up! Will pull paint off wall so be careful!
So this gate worked for a few days and then my puppy figured out how to get around or under it with ease, only having 2 metal support rods on the sides means the top and bottom is just flimsy mesh which allowed my puppy to crawl underneath with ease. The hooks were very sticky, but ruined the paint on my wall, some came broken and therefore unusable, also if your dog is smart like my puppy they just go straight for the corners and pull the elastic off the hooks so if you can hide them behind a door frame, I never had this opportunity. Overall I think this gate could be useful but unfortunately for me it wasnt.

Good product, not easy to take up and down
Thisviscan overall great product i would give 5 stars if it wete not for the fact that its not easy to unhook and get through if you need to quickly, i had to pull it very tight as i didnt want gapage for my cats to sqeeze through. The hooks stick very well, probably a little too well, as once on you cant get them off easily, be careful what you stick them too as paint or wallpaper would be ruined upon removal. The product itself is good but i need to look at easier release clips if thats possible to find.

Utter garbage
This is a flexible mesh "gate" held in place by 4 hooks which attach to the gate by elastic rings. The top and bottom are reinforced with metal poles (or the sides depending how you install it)Sounds great? The hooks are plastic and stick on. Stuck these on the wall and two pulled off easily. The plastic hooks are just as poor and one snapped with little force. The non-reinforced sides flap even when taught and this mobility allows any dog to push past or under themThe elastic rings rip right off, one ripped off within an hour of installation. In short, this is useless. I've had to replace two of the elastic rings with tie-wraps, put metal hooks into the wall and reinforce the sides by stappling on a piece of wood and we only bought it yesterday!I might as well have used an old sheet, done all this and saved myself £10

Older dogs can figure out how to get around this
Great for puppies. Easy to assemble. But my older dog found an escape up the side of it. No problem it was the pup I was containing and it workef

Didn’t include rods
The product seems like it would be great, however I didn’t receive all of the items. There was no rods in the package so the item is pretty useless. If all the items had been included it does look like it would be quite a good gate, wouldn’t cause damage to door frames like usual fixed gates and could be easily put up and taken down.Because of the missing items and not being able to use it I can only give it the one star. It can not do what it is intended to do.
