This floor mat has helped keep my mother from falling/slipping when she has gotten out of her recliner. My parents have wooden floors, and she normally only has her socks on when she stands up from her hydraulic lift chair (she would slip on the floor and fall). Since she started using this mat, she has remained vertical when standing! It feels so comfortable when I have stood on it that I am planning on buying one for my floor in front of the kitchen sink.

Definitely helps for people who spend a lot of time standing in the kitchen! So far, so good.

This mat is thicker than the standard anti-fatigue mat and so it feels extra comfortable for long periods of standing in the kitchen. My wife loves it. My friends who occasionally visit also love it and want to steal it! The long width allows for surface area coverage through the entire length of the counter. There are anti-slip rubber pads on its underside so prevent the mat from sliding around with use. Love the mat , but it moves around needed more traction to stay put , that’s why 3 stars

The mat is well made, sturdy and easy to clean. It's 12 inches longer than my previous mats which fits better in my kitchen instead of the shorter mat.I'll enjoy using it for a long time.
