KIBO 18 Robot Kit - Screen-Free, Playful, Creative Coding STEAM Robotics for Students Ages 4–7 – Introduces Hands-On Coding, Robotics, and Engineering

I've been using Kibo robots to introduce computer programming to kindergarteners in my district for 3 years. With Kibos, students quickly pick up the procedures for creating code with wooden blocks and scanning their programs into the robot. The thing that sets Kibo apart from other devices for younger children is its adaptability and transparency. Kibo can become an animal that runs and spins, or it can become a dancer following a child's choreography. In addition, Kibo has a clear plastic shield on the back that lets students see what the inside of a robot looks like. It takes away some of the black box mystery that other products create.
