Meyco Safety Cover Pop-Up Brass Anchor POPUP

I had to replace a bad/missing pop-up anchor. I did not need the base in this instance. I'm rating this 5 stars based on this fact. It fit the old base hole thing-a-ma-jig perfectly.HOWEVER - If you have a choice between these or the screw type - I strongly recommend the screw type. My pool cover is over 17 years old and these just seemed to strip or cease working correctly in that time. I have a few screw types that I've used to replace some that popped out of the concrete hole and they're easier to work with.

ordered these anchors to replace damaged ones that had originally came with my Meyco safety cover. Unfortunately if these are truly Meyco branded anchors the size is larger than the originals that came with the cover as they will not fit in the meyco paver pipes or lawn stakes. This was a terrible inconvenience. I since purchased meyco anchors from another source and they fit exactly as the old ones. So if you already have a cover set up and are using these to replace existing meyco anchors into existing holes these arent for you.

If you have a Meyco safety cover and are looking at these for pop-up replacements, these are NOT Meyco parts and they DO NOT fit in the Meyco brass cups. The design of these is completely different and the horizontal grooves do not match the Meyco grooves. I called Meyco to ask about this, and they tell me that they have only one design of pop-ups, they are stamped with a patent number on the top of the pop-up and the design has not changed in over 25 years. DO NOT buy these as it is a waste of money. You will need the genuine Meyco parts.If you are doing a completely new installation, and not a replacement, these would probably work fine.

Used just the inner pop up part to replace a lost one. Fit perfectly even though the original one was purchased years ago

DON'T buy these. I've put the OEM anchors in 4 times prior to installing these replacement parts.Too thin, warp when installing. The pop ups and springs were stuck inside 1/2 these!Stick with MEYCO OEM Parts!You can probably get more money scrapping these out then What they're worth!!!
