Assured Quality
Quite a patented formulation and design. No staining, no damage to plants, negligible clumps. Spreads in my electric spreader. Formulation even remained lightly in my concretes after deicing and essentially auto-pretreated for the next flurry, weeks or months later. I tried to save money by making a homebrew mix of generic-branded local MgCl2 and CaCl (3:1 mix). Still significantly inferior in deicing for the price, with 2-3 times the volume I'd need with yours. Pricey now with the recent blizzards across the US...wacked natures, wacked times. But looking to stock up more. In the midwest.

Very effective and didn't cause issues with my concrete.
This stuff is great at melting ice and snow, immediately after I put it down. The only thing I've noticed that might be a negative is that in some places, it leaves a little bit of a residual spot on the concrete, almost like I've spilled something oily. It goes away after awhile, and can be rinsed, if it is bothersome to you. This is my second bag of it, and I'll be ordering more.

Anything to keep our four-leggers safe
You may find less expensive products, and these melt ice on c o l d winter nights and we don't mind our dog walking over it. Good stuff.

Not paw friendly.
I wanted to give more stars. But unfortunately the next day after I sow the salt all over the pathway my doggies do not want to step on to the salt again and they only step on the snowed areas. From the moment they stepped on that salt they were licking their paws like it bothered them and I immediately wash them to remove the salt. I do not know if it safe or not but it seems to bother my doggies paws. I wouldn’t recommend.
